Answer: Glengarry

The Glengarry is now a part of the standard uniform for many pipe bands, curling teams and other Scottish organisations. It is very popular in Canada and Australia as well as Scotland. It is believed to have first appeared in 1805 in Glengarry in Invernesshire and became popular during the reign of Queen Victoria.

Answer: The John B. Stetson Company

The first hat was sold in Circle City, Colorado. He called it the "Boss of the Plains" and it was also referred to as a "ten-gallon" hat. It was supposed to protect the cowboy's eyes from the sun and his neck from the rain and was sometimes used as a water bowl. Nowadays the Stetson factory is in St.Joseph, Missouri.
