Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. When you go to Disney World or Disneyland you're almost guaranteed to run into the tall funny looking guy. He's funny and has big shoes. He even laughs like this, "a hew a hew a hew." Do you know the name of this funny looking character?

Answer: Goofy

If it's your birthday the day that you go to Disney World and Disneyland, stop at the Town Hall to pick up your birthday button. You can even get a phone call from Goofy at one of the stores in Disney. He'll wish you a happy birthday personally. I wore my button all day long and everyone said "happy birthday" to me.

It was really nice. Make sure you sit close for the parade. Everyone sees you there!
2. This character is probably one of the meanest of the seven dwarfs. He's always trying to be mean and nasty. But I really think he can be a nice guy if he wants. Do you know which dwarf I'm talking about?

Answer: Grumpy

A man by the name of Pinto Colvig was the man who voiced Grumpy. He even did the voice of Sleepy too. He was also one of the voices of a Munchkin in the movie "The Wizard of Oz". He voiced the character of Goofy for many years too. I think we could call him a man of many voices.
3. When you take a ride in the Haunted House Ride you can see 999 of these floating around. Do you know what this word is that starts with the letter G?

Answer: Ghosts

Actually Disney just made the movie "The Haunted Mansion" that stars Eddie Murphy. Eddie Murphy was also in the movie "Daddy Day Care" and he voiced the donkey in the movie "Shrek". Eddie teamed up with Disney before in the movie "Mulan", when he voiced the little dragon, Mushu.
4. This is one of the craziest roller coasters in Toon Town. It has all these weird sounds and just goes a little crazy. Can you name this silly roller coaster?

Answer: Gadgets Go Coaster

Even though this may look like a small and not so scary coaster, you still need to be 35 inches or taller to ride this ride. Just head over to Toon Town in Disneyland and hop aboard Gadget's crazy contraption. You'll be glad that you did.
5. What is the name of the man that wanted a real boy. He was thankful for the wooden little boy that he had, but he was even happier when the wooden boy came to be a real boy. What is the father's name?

Answer: Geppetto

"I got no strings to hold me down..." Actually I never understood this song. Usually if you have a puppet, you would hold the wooden pieces up high and the strings would hold the puppet up, not down. I wonder why they didn't say "I got no strings to hold me up..." instead.
6. In Disney World you can see many first men here, including George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Richard Nixon and even George W. Bush. Do you know this show that I'm thinking of? We're on the letter H now.

Answer: Hall of Presidents

The President of the United States of America during the time of your visit will get up and talk to the group of people in the audience. He's not real, only a wax figure. Disney officials go so far as to find out exactly what size the President is and ask numerous questions of the President. Sometimes the President will record his own personal greeting for the audience. "Glory, glory, hallelujah." What a fantastic show!
7. Eddie Murphy gets to visit this spooky house with his family in this 2003 Disney movie. What movie is this?

Answer: Haunted Mansion

Another actor by the name of Wallace Shawn was also in this movie. You might know Wallace from his movies "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2". Wallace was the voice of Rex the dinosaur. Wallace was even in the children's story "The Princess Bride". He was the man named Vizzini that laughed and laughed, until he fell over dead from the poison. Wallace has been in a lot of movies over the past few years.
8. This is probably one of my best attractions in Epcot. You just sit back, put your 3D glasses on and relax and watch this movie. There are a few mice running around. You also get zapped with a shrinking machine, but it's okay. You get to get blown up again. What show is this?

Answer: Honey, I Shrunk the Audience

All of the others are titles of movie starring Rick Moranis. Rick Moranis is famous for doing family type movies. He was in "Ghost Busters", "The Flinstones" and my favorite movie, "Little Giants". If you ever want to watch a feel good movie, watch "Little Giants". It's a great movie!
9. What do the seven dwarfs sing as they go along to work?

Answer: Heigh ho heigh ho...

This is a cute song from the movie "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". "We dig dig dig dig..." They actually say the word dig seven times. Do you think that's because there are seven dwarfs?
10. Here's the last question for the letter H now. This movie teams up a man that rings the bells and a gypsy, dancing woman. Do you know the name of this famous movie set in Paris?

Answer: Hunchback of Notre Dame

Well, we've come to another ending of the quiz. You'll have to wait till the next edition comes out. I hope you're enjoying the quizzes and hopefully gaining a little bit of knowledge too. It reminds me of all the times I've been to Disney and I get homesick for Mickey and Minnie. Oops, we forgot the H's. How about, Hurry up and hitch another hog, he's heading to our house. Thanks again and have a wonderful day!
