Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. I'm the coaster-junkie type. I remember riding a 4-D coaster that was painted black and red. What is this ride?

Answer: X2

X2 is the renovation and "sequel" to the highly-popular coaster, X. They updated its trains, track, and queue line. It hypes up the ride for a more intense feeling then the previous theme did.
2. I wanted to ride something that made me feel like I am flying! Lucky for us there was one! It made you feel like a "flying orange dragon". What is the ride?

Answer: Tatsu

Tatsu is a 3,600 feet coaster that has a stomach-churning 124-foot pretzel loop. After three and a half minutes and a top speed of 62 miles per hour, the fun ride ends. At the exit line, you can have a fantastic view of the loop of Revolution.
3. I then wanted to ride another coaster. The ride was a green, suspended coaster without a full circuit. What ride is this?

Answer: Déjà Vu

Surprisingly, many people have complained of chest pains from the restraints and ride experience. This led to the removal of similar coasters in different parks.
4. I wanted to ride something wooden. The theme was something of a robot-apocalypse. What ride is this?

Answer: Terminator Salvation: The Ride

The land of this wooden coaster was previously occupied by Psyclone. Psyclone was nearly devastated after the Northridge Earthquake of 1994. After that, they modified the ride, which unfortunately made the ride much more rough. This drew away riders which eventually led to the destruction of the ride.
5. I didn't look for anything specific so I just strolled along and found a green coaster. It appeared to have its riders standing up! What coaster is this?

Answer: Riddler's Revenge

One special feature of the ride is that they have the lift hill going through the first loop. This is rare in stand-up coasters and coasters in general. Riddler's Revenge opened its "portal" on April 4th, 1998.
6. Most people know The Riddler's foe. If you don't, then this suspended coaster should be a fun reminder. What ride is this?

Answer: Batman: The Ride

Out of all of the Six Flags parks, more than eight contain a Batman ride with a similar layout. The original is located in Six Flags Great America.
7. I wanted to yelp in fear! I decided to go on the coaster with a similar name. It had a blue, yellow, and pink painted coaster with many inversions. What coaster was this?

Answer: Scream!

Scream! is a mirror ride of Bizarro (previously known as Medusa) from Six Flags Great Adventure. The ride along with other attractions in the park were featured in a music video called "Baby It's You" by singer JoJo.
8. I felt a little more "woodie" and decided to ride a wooden coaster. It was painted white and appeared to be racing! What coasters are these?

Answer: Colossus

The ride is featured in many movies and television shows such as the "A-Team", "Knight Rider", "National Lampoon's Vacation", and "Wild and Crazy Kids". Colossus is not really considered racing since both trains are not released from the station simultaneously.
9. I rode a large orange coaster that dived into the ground. I also remember almost blacking out during a double-helix. What ride is this?

Answer: Goliath

The ride cost $30,000,000. Just a note, all of those "none of these" choices are put there to substitute my horrible imagination of attraction names.
10. The final ride I rode was an LIM (Linear Induction Motor) coaster that shot straight up, then straight back down. What ride is this?

Answer: Superman: The Escape

On July 10th, 2010, the ride closed for refurbishment. Later on August 3rd, the park announced a theme refurbishment as well as engineering. It included a new theme including Krypton and a track with a backwards launch.
