Connie become suspicious when her mother tries to hide phone calls and doesn't tell her what is going on, however when Pamela shows up at Whit's End, Connie is extremely overjoyed!

Connie finds out when she shows Pamela the Imagination Station that Pamela is visiting her because she has a serious problem. Pamela wants to fix mistakes between her and her boyfriend that happened two months ago. Her boyfriend and her had been seriously dating and two months ago started having problems with their relationship. Connie finds out that Pamela is pregnant.

Pamela is a Christian and is unmarried. She is debating going to a clinic near Odyssey and having an abortion. Connie is shocked and tries to convince Pamela not to do it.

Pamela wants to make the baby disappear because she is highly involved in church and her dad is an elder in the church and her mom is in charge of the ladies committees. She does not want this to affect her or her family.

Pamela wants the baby to disappear. Whit tells her that she may think it is her choice, but it is not her baby's choice.

Whit tells Pamela she knows its a baby, her baby. He tries to explain to her that there are programs in churches for adoption.

Whit wants Pamela to tell her parents about the baby and let them know what she is going through. He does not want her to have to be alone in her decisions. Pamela cannot do it because she is afraid of what it will do to her parents.

Whit also shares with Pamela that there are many options for her to not go through with taking her baby's life. He tells her that many churches have adoption programs. He suggests maybe her own church can help or sponsor her.

Pamela refuses to tell her parents or her church. Whit suggests that if she doesn't tell her parents she live in Odyssey. He wants her to know that there are people here who will help her and her baby until her baby is born. He mentions she can live with him or Connie because they both have spare rooms. Then he suggests afterwords she can either keep the baby or consider an adoption program.

Pamela sees a baby sitting in a stroller by itself. She becomes upset and yells because she thinks the baby is unprotected and uncared for when there are all kinds of people that could hurt it around. Pamela yells at the mother who does not understand why Pamela is so mad that the baby was left by itself while she was making a call in a phone booth. Connie asks Pamela why she is so upset about a baby by itself when she is debating killing her own unborn baby.

Pamela's parents tell her on a phone call that her 16 year old cousin is pregnant and no one knows if she will marry the father. Her parents are shocked and can't believe that a good Christian girl would do such a thing. Pamela's parents tell her that she is their perfect daughter and they are so glad that she would not do something like her cousin.

The phone call causes Pamela to cry afterwords because she can't tell them she is pregnant.

The lady tells her that getting an abortion is like getting an ingrown toenail removed. Pamela asks the lady if she really believes that and the lady tells her if she didn't she wouldn't be able to go through with the abortion.

The lady at the abortion clinic helps Pamela realize that she is debating aborting the life of her own baby. Pamela comes home from the abortion clinic and tells Connie she cannot go through with it because it is her baby. She agrees to get help and tell her parents.

Pamela's boyfriend takes responsibility and tells Pamela's parents. When Pamela finds Connie and tells her she couldn't go through with the abortion, her parents are there to tell her they love her. They offer to help Pamela and bring Pamela home. Whit asks Connie how they found out if Connie and he didn't tell them. Connie tells them Pamela's boyfriend told them and they flew down to Odyssey to help Pamela when they found out. Whit and Connie both pray that Pamela and her baby have a happy ending.
