Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. This video game was based on a movie, "Fantastic Four". The game was released in 2007 and can be played on numerous devices including, XBox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. What is the correct name of the video game?

Answer: Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

Chase Jones designed this game. The Silver Surfer was designed by Jack Kirby and appeared in "Fantastic Four" comics in 1966. He's fast, strong and completely durable! His skin is a metallic silver coloring, and he uses a surf board to travel around. Silver surfer is the perfect name for this character.

In the video game you become one of the Fantastic Four, as you battle to the potential ending. Silver Surfer, along with Dr. Doom and Red Ghost are some of the enemies that you will fight in this game.

Just so you know, there will be no golfing clubs used in this video game, so again, no FORE will be mentioned.
2. "When I get older losing my hair, Many years from now..." ...starts this comical song sung by the Beatles. What is the name of this song?

Answer: When I'm 64

This song was written by Paul McCartney and was released in 1967. Paul actually thought of this song years before, but didn't put it all together until 1966. This was actually the first song recorded on the album, "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band".

"Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I'm sixty-four."

You see many things on the album cover, but no one golf cart was used. Nope, no FORE here either.
3. Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy teamed up for two movies, with similar titles. The original movie was from 1982. What was the name of the first movie?

Answer: 48 hours

Eddie played the role of Reggie, who was in prison, doing time for previous crimes. Nick Nolte played the role of Jack, who need answers that only Reggie had. The best thing to do? Give Reggie 48 hours on the outside to get the puzzle solved.

Eight years later, they teamed up for the sequel, "Another 48 Hours" trying to bring down a drug lord. Both of the movies had so many comical scenes. Eddie Murphy was nominated for a Golden Globe for New Star of the Year, but lost to Ben Kingsley for "Gandhi".

There were a lot of games played in the movie, but none of them required the word, FORE, to be used.
4. The "Golden Girls" were four elderly women, who lived together. Each one had her own unique and fun personality. What were the first names of all FOUR women?

Answer: Rose, Dorothy, Sophia and Blanche

Rose Nylund was played by the dorky and loveable Betty White. She was the backbone to the television series with her dumb antics.

Bea Arthur portrayed Dorothy Zbornak, who was the school teacher and lived with her mother.

Estelle Getty played the role of the mother, Sophia, who grew up in Italy and was very proud of her Italian heritage.

Rue McClanahan played Blanche Devereaux, the sexy and naughty one in the foursome, who owned the home.

I do think that there are many golf courses in Florida, but none that I know of in this series.
5. Link, from the "Legend of Zelda" has been in numerous video games, but only ONE has the number FOUR in it. Which video game am I talking about?

Answer: Legend of Zelda Four Swords Adventures

The "Four Swords" was the 11th in the "Zelda" series. The game was written by Aya Kyogoku and Daiji Imai and was released in 2004. Zelda has changed so much over the years. I recall playing the very first Link as he struggled through lands attempting to get to the ending.

This game has a little different version from the United States versus the Japanese version.

Grab your controllers and see if you can make it all the way through the Hyrulean Adventures and on to the next level.

I wonder if Link will ever play on a golf course in his video games?
6. "I'm outa time and All I got is _____ minutes, eh I'm outta time and ..." How many minutes are in this song, sung by Madonna?

Answer: Four

The song was released in 2008 from her album, "Hard Candy". She teamed up with Justin Timberlake for the song. The song was co-wrote by Madonna, Justin, Tim Mosley and Nate Hills.

The song was loved by the critics, as it tells us about the world and the problems we have in the world today with the environment.

Keeping it up with the 'FORE' them, it's unFOREtunate that golf courses were not used in this music video.
7. The television show, "Sex and the City", featured four beautiful girls in the city of New York. What are the names of all FOUR women?

Answer: Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda

Sarah Jessica Parker played the role of the newspaper columnist, Carrie Bradshaw. She would write about her life, along with her friend's lives.

Kim Cattrall played the role of sexy Samantha Jones. She eventually moved from New York to California to manage her boyfriend's career.

Kristin Davis played the role of Charlotte York perfectly! She married twice and adopted a little Asian baby. I can't recall for the life of me what her job was. Something to do with art work?

Cynthia Nixon played the attorney, Miranda Hobbes. She met Steve Brady, who was a bartender, and they were married and had a child, who surprisingly looked just like Cynthia.

The perfect FORE-some were these gals.
8. Heath Ledger, Kate Hudson, Wes Bentley and Djimon Hounsou were in this movie about four white items. The movie was released in 2002 and was directed by Shekhar Kapur. What was the name of this movie?

Answer: The Four Feathers

The movie was based on the novel by A. E. W. Mason.

Without telling you too much about the movie, Heath Ledger, plays the role of Harry. He has it all, love and a new job as a British Officer. It's not exactly what he was hoping for. His fiancée and friends each accuse him of being a coward and each give him one white feather.

Things change and I'm not going any further, gotta watch it! Let me catch a game of golf while you wait for the streaming to start.
9. "Round and round and away we go _____________ and away we go High now low and away we go..." What song is this by Miley Cyrus?

Answer: 4 x 4

Miley performs this on her "Bangerz" album with rapper, Nelly. Miley put a tint of country in the song, which was only performed on the album alone.

Miley co-wrote the song with Pharrell Williams and Cornell Haynes. They mentioned that they had some fun writing the song, making it both a country and rap song at the same time.
10. Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell teamed up in this romantic comedy from 1994. What Oscar nominated movie was this?

Answer: Four Weddings and a Funeral

The movie was nominated for an Oscar but lost out to "Forrest Gump".

Hugh and Andie meet at least five times over the course of the movie. Each time, either at a funeral or a wedding. Hugh has feelings for Andie and isn't quite sure how to make the next move and sometimes, being a little too late with his choices.

Not one of my favorite movies, but it's a cute afternoon spent after golfing in the hot sun.
