Bob Hope brought us so many laughs through the years. Bob hosted the Oscars for many years. He would always joke about the Oscars and 'him never receiving one.'

He was a host for "Good Night America" and he hosted his own talk show, "Geraldo" in 1987. I'll never forget the look on his face after they opened the vault. We all waited and watched, for nothing!

Nicole had to don the fake nose for her role of Virginia in this movie. Come to find out, Nicole was not the first person up for an Oscar with a fake nose. Lee Marvin donned a fake nose in "Cat Ballou" and won the Oscar. Jose Ferrer also won an Oscar for his nose-winning "Cyrano de Bergerac".

Steve Martin made a joke at the Oscar's that "The Hours" was the first movie that Nicole did NOT wear a fake nose. Just who does Steve Martin think he is by saying that?

Pinocchio had a bit of a problem. When he didn't tell the truth, his nose would grow a little longer with each lie. Pinocchio ended up becoming a real live boy at the end of the movie, of course with a little help from his friend and conscience, Jiminy Cricket.

Karl Malden picked up his first Oscar for his role of Mitch in the movie "Streetcar Named Desire". He was also nominated for an Emmy in "Streets of San Francisco". Sort of think he's got to stick to the streets with that major nose! Actually, my favorite movie with him is when he played the Reverend in "Pollyanna".

It was great seeing her sock him out. That reminds me of the television show "Laugh In" and the sock it to me girl. Maybe you'll remember Jimmy Durante saying "Good night, Mrs. Calabash, wherever you are." Who could forget W.C. Field's nose? What about the reindeer that saved the day, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer? Every time I think of noses, I can't seem to forget beautiful Samantha Stevens and her "twitching" nose in "Bewitched". But most importantly ladies... remember the number one rule from "Legally Blonde"! Don't do the "bend and snap" when a UPS man is standing by you.
