1. The Gold Coast is home to four major theme parks: Wet 'n' Wild, Sea World, Dream World and Movie World. Which one was the first to open?

Answer: Sea World

Sea World opened on October 30th, 1971. The second park to open was Dream World, on December 15th, 1981. Wet 'n' Wild (formerly known as Cade's County Waterpark) opened on September 30th, 1984 while Movie World was the last park to open, on June 3rd, 1991.
2. Wet 'n' Wild once had a waterslide called 'Double Screamer'.

Answer: True

'Double Screamer' was removed in 2005 due to safety concerns. It was replaced by the children's play area 'Buccaneer Bay'.

Movie World is home to five rollercoasters. The fastest, Superman Escape, travels at 100km/h.
