Released in 1999 and starring Tom Hanks, Michael Clarke Duncan and Bonnie Hunt, 'The Green Mile' is an American crime drama based on the 1996 Stephen King novel of the same name. With elements also of the supernatural, the film is told in flashback mode of the life of Hanks' character Paul Edgecomb, an officer on the Death Row section of a Louisiana penitentiary during the 1930s.
2. Behind These _____ Eyes

3. _____ Houses

Answer: Pink

'Pink Houses' is a 1983 release from the American folk rocker John Cougar Mellencamp. It comes from the album 'Uh-Huh' which was released the same year and the song has since been adopted for several presidential campaigns, most notably John Edwards in 2004 and 2008 and John McCain's 2008 bid.
4. _____ Rose Bride

Answer: Yellow

'Yellow Rose Bride' is a 2006 novel by the American romance author Lori Copeland. Set in Texas, it focuses on a woman called Vonnie Taylor, a seamstress who is charged with the task of making her ex-husband's new fiancee's wedding dress. As Vonnie once again gets close to her former love, many secrets and lies emerge from years ago that could change both their futures forever.
5. Pot _____

Answer: Black

First show in 1969 and filmed in Sheffield, 'Pot Black' was a British show focusing on the game of snooker. It ran until 1986 and was a huge boost for the popularity of the sport. Colour TV was still a relatively new thing then, only coming in two years previously, and the BBC took full advantage of this new format.

The show was revived in the 1990s and lasted until 2007. The premise was essentially a one-frame shootout with the winner progressing and the loser having to play again to stay in, but the format changed numerous times as the years went on.
6. Touch Of _____

Answer: Grey

'Touch Of Grey' is a song by American rock band The Grateful Dead and was released in 1987. It came from the band's twelfth studio album, 'In The Dark', also released the same year and became their first song to be accompanied with a music video.
7. _____ Corner

Answer: Red

Starring Richard Gere and released in 1997, 'Red Corner' is an American thriller written by Robert King. It centres on Gere's character, Jack Moore, a wealthy businessman on a trip to the Far East. Whilst there, he is framed for murder and it is down to his female lawyer Shen Yuelin (Bai Ling) to win back his freedom and prove his innocence.
8. Holby_____

Answer: Blue

'HolbyBlue', or sometimes known by the two-word title 'Holby Blue', is a British police drama set in and around the fictional Holby South police station. The show is a spin-off from the medical drama 'Holby City', itself a spin-off from the long-running and ever popular 'Casualty', first broadcast in 1986. 'HolbyBlue' sadly only ran for two series, between 2007-2008, but had many famous British names in the cast, including Kacey Ainsworth, Jimmy Akingbola, Tim Pigott-Smith and Zoe Lucker.
9. The _____ Letter

Answer: Scarlet

Aside from the Gothic novel 'The House of the Seven Gables', 'The Scarlet Letter' is arguably the best-known work of the celebrated American author Nathaniel Hawthorne. Written in 1850 but set in the mid 17th century, it tells the story of Hester Prynne, a young mother who comes to be unsure who her baby daughter's father is. Because of this dubiety and the puritanical feeling of the time, she is forced to wear the letter 'A' on her dress for all to see.

This stood for 'adulteress' and was in bright scarlet.

The novel then introduces us to Hester's long-lost husband Roger Chillingsworth. He tells her he'll find little Pearl's real father and thus begins the search for the ultimate and devastating truth.
10. Lady in _____

Answer: White

Ah, yes. White, not red. This is a 1988 American horror/ghost movie starring Lukas Haas and Katherine Helmond. It's setting is mainly told in flashback mode during Halloween of 1962, where a young student named Frankie helps to investigate a horrifying series of child murders, for which the school janitor is now on trial for. But is the true killer closer to home?
