She was created by Carl Barks and made her first appearance in his story "The Midas' Touch" in late 1961. Her goal is to steal Scrooge's first dime and make a potion that will give her the Midas Touch, the ability to transform everything she touches into gold.

Henry Mancini was born on April 16, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He is well known for his collaborations with screenwriter Blake Edwards. He wrote music themes for many classical Edwards movies, such as "Breakfast at Tiffany's", "Days of Wine and Roses" and "Victor Victoria".

He scored some TV miniseries, including "The Thorn Birds", while some of his songs were recorded by artists such as Frank Sinatra and Perry Como. He died on June 14, 1994.
