1. The Ultimate Warrior's big break came in the summer of 1985 when he was paired with another rising star in a tag team called "The Blade Runners". Who was his partner?

Answer: Sting

In the summer of 1985 Jerry Lawler and promoter Jerry Jarrett paired Steve Borden aka Sting and Jim Helwig aka The Ultimate Warrior as the futuristic duo called "The Blade Runners". Green as hell and inexperienced they were quickly terminated due to sloppy ring style and purposely causing injuries. From their they went to Bill Watts's newly formed UWF where they served as the muscle for heel manager and wrestler Eddie Gilbert and his stable "Hotstuff & Hyatt International".

In the fall of 1986 Jim Helwig took his game to the legendary Fritz Von Erich's WCCW promotion where he adopted the name of The Dingo Warrior. In November 1986 he and Von Erich "cousin" Lance won The WCCW Tag Team Titles and in February 1987 he won The WCCW Texas Heavyweight Title.

The Dingo Warrior held that title until dropping it to Al Perez in June 1987. Shortly afterward he left WCCW for The WWF where his career would really reach new heights.
3. The Ultimate Warrior's first big feud in The WWF was against Hercules Hernandez. In a televised altercation what object did The Warrior snap in half?

Answer: A Steel Chain

The Warrior's climb to the top was slow at first as he mainly fought enhancement talent and preliminary wrestlers in televised matches. In January 1988 he faced his biggest challenge in the form of the mighty Hercules Hernandez. After a televised bout ended in a wild melee, Hernandez attacked The Warrior with his trusty steel chain.

The Warrior quickly grabbed one end of the object and pulled so hard that the chain broke in half!
4. On August 29, 1988 The Ultimate Warrior ended the 14 month reign of The Honky Tonk Man as WWF Intercontinental Champion at "Summerslam'88". How long did the match last?

Answer: 31 seconds

At the very first "Summerslam" in Madison Square Garden on August 29, 1988 history was made as The Ultimate Warrior defeated The Honky Tonk Man to win The WWF Intercontinental Title. Honky had been scheduled to defend against Brutus Beefcake however an injury forced Beefcake out of the match. Honky decided to lay out an open challenge and it took The Warrior just 31 seconds to strip him of his title.

Answer: A Super Posedown

At "The Royal Rumble" on January 15, 1989 the cocky "Ravishing" Rick Rude and his manager Bobby Heenan challenged The Ultimate Warrior to a "Super Posedown" in which each wrestler would show off their impressive muscles. When it became apparent that The Warrior was going to win Heenan sprayed oil in his face and Rude clobbered him with a warm up bar. In June 1990 Animal and Hawk aka "The Legion of Doom" made their long awaited WWF debut. The LOD were immediately thrust into a feud with Ax, Smash and Crush aka Demolition. On the October 13, 1990 segment of "Saturday Nights Main Event" Hawk and Animal enlisted the help of The Ultimate Warrior in a six man tag team match against their foes. Hawk, Animal and The Warrior were successful.
7. On January 19, 1991 The Ultimate Warrior lost The WWF Heavyweight Title to Sgt Slaughter at "The Royal Rumble". What pesky heel's interference cost The Warrior the match and the belt?

Answer: Randy Savage

In the fall of 1990, WWF Heavyweight Champion The Ultimate Warrior entered into a bitter struggle with Randy Savage. On January 19, 1991 at "The Royal Rumble" it was Savage's interference which caused The Warrior to lose the championship. Just two months later at "Wrestlemania VII" The Warrior got his revenge by beating Savage and ending his career, albeit temporarily.
8. After a brief sabbatical The Ultimate Warrior made his return to The WWF in the spring of 1992. Which eccentric heel wrestler did he feud with for much of that summer?

Answer: Papa Shango

On April 5, 1992 The Ultimate Warrior made his return to The WWF at "Wrestlemania VIII" by saving Hulk Hogan from a vicious attack from Sid Justice and Papa Shango. Initially The Warrior was to feud with Sid but Justice bolted from the company immediately following the event. To fill the void The Warrior was placed in a weak feud against the evil master of voodoo Papa Shango.

The feud lasted through the summer and in one memorable televised incident Shango made black fluid pour from The Warrior's hands.

During the spring of 1996 the fans of the WWF lobbied interim WWF President "Rowdy" Roddy Piper to bring back The Ultimate Warrior. Eventually the war painted wonder arrived and true to form his stay was brief and his appearances erratic and unreliable. However at "In Your House VII: Good Friends, Better Enemies" he defeated reigning WWF Intercontinental Champion Goldust by count out.
10. In the fall of 1998 WCW began to hype the arrival of The Warrior by having him "magically appear and disappear" through trap doors. What wrestler actually injured himself by falling on one of these trap doors?

Answer: Davey Boy Smith

In order to really get The Warrior over with their fans, WCW installed trap doors in their rings so when smoke clouded the arena The Warrior could appear and disappear. Unfortunately for The British Bulldog aka Davey Boy Smith he and Jim Neidhart were battling Alex Wright and The Disco Inferno when he took a nasty spill on one.

The Bulldog suffered a severe back injury which would plague him the rest of his life, developed an addiction to pain killers and was fired via Fed Ex. Poor Davey's life was ruined and The Warrior wrestled a total of three bouts before his departure.
