"WWF 'Wrestlemania X8" Trivia Quiz

Rob Van Dam faced off against William Regal for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. At first, Regal had control of the match, but control was soon taken away by Rob Van Dam. Van Dam gave Regal a clothesline and several kicks to the head and abdomen. Regal decided he had enough and reached into his trunks for a pair of brass knuckles. Van Dam, seeing the brass knuckles, kicked them out of Regal's hand, and they landed on the mat outside the ring.

After knocking Regal flat, Van Dam decided to go for the "Five Star Frog Splash", but Regal moved and Rob Van Dam landed with a hard crash on the mat.

After more battling, Van Dam went for the "Rolling Thunder", but all he received for that was Regal's knees in his back. Regal then gave Rob Van Dam a "Full Nelson", which landed Rob Van Dam on his head. Regal then reached in his trunks again for another pair of brass knuckles, but Rob Van Dam kicked them out of his hand again.

Then Van Dam performed the "Five Star Frog Splash" and won the title.

Christian faced off against Diamond Dallas Page for the WWF European Championship. Upon entering the ring, Christian assaulted the champion and grabbed the belt and raised it over his head. Diamond Dallas Page came out of nowhere and tossed Christian out of the ring.

The two battled fiercely, with Christian trying to give Diamond Dallas Page the "Unprettier", but Diamond Dallas Page fought out of it. After trying to give Christian the "Diamond Cutter" several times, Diamond Dallas Page succeeded. Diamond Dallas Page retained his title.

After the match, Diamond Dallas Page congratulated Christian for controlling his temper when he lost. As Diamond Dallas Page was leaving, Christian threw a tantrum in the middle of the ring, but Diamond Dallas Page only smiled and then left the arena through the crowd. Way to go Diamond Dallas Page!

Answer: Goldust

Goldust faced off against Maven for the WWF Hardcore Championship. Goldust came equipped with gold trashcans and a gold shovel. Goldust had control of the match, but was soon outmaneuvered by Maven. Maven dropkicked a trashcan into Goldust's face. Then Goldust brought out the gold shovel and used it to hit Maven in the ribs.

Then Goldust placed the shovel's handle to Maven's throat. Just then, Spike Dudley ran to the ring and pinned Maven to become the new WWF Hardcore Champion.

Answer: Crash Holly

As Spike Dudley was celebrating, Crash Holly ran to the ring and chased Spike into the crowd. The scene continued backstage where Spike was being attacked by Crash. Spike got the better of Crash when he slammed Crash's head into a garage door. All of a sudden, Al Snow came to the scene in a golf cart, and crashed into some empty boxes. Just as Spike was recovering from Crash's attack, The Hurricane flew in on a rope and kicked Spike in the face and then pinned him to become the Hardcore Champion.

Kane faced off against Kurt Angle. Kane had control of the match, but it was soon taken away by Angle. Angle put Kane in an "Ankle Lock", but Kane refused to tap out. Then Kane gave Angle a "Chokeslam", but was unable to capitalize on it, and Angle recovered.

As Kane was prepared to fly off the top rope, Angle ran over and knocked Kane off. Kane tried to give Angle another "Chokeslam", but Angle reversed it and instead gave Kane a suplex. Angle then pinned Kane, while using the ropes for leverage. Kane legally wasn't pinned, he had his shoulders up the entire time during the pin.

The referee made a bad call and counted Kane out.

Answer: The Undertaker

The Undertaker faced off against Ric Flair. As soon as Flair reached the ring, he knocked Taker over the top ropes and pushed him over the announce table. Flair then gave Taker a right on his cheek, cutting the Deadman. Taker then grabbed Flair and slammed his back into the ring post. Taker tossed Flair into the ring and cornered Mr. Woo, assaulting him and making Flair bleed profusely.

The fight went outside the ring where Taker went for the lead pipe that was attached to his motorcycle, but Flair pushed Taker out of the way and grabbed the lead pipe for himself. Flair then hit Take on the forehead, cutting him.

The fight continued in the ring, where Flair put Taker in a "Figure Four Leglock", but the Deadman refused to give up. Instead, Taker lurched forward and grabbed Flair's throat, which unlocked the leglock. Taker then grabbed the referee and slammed him into the ring post.

Answer: Arn Anderson

After Taker knocked out the referee, Arn Anderson ran in and gave Taker a "Spinebuster", which allowed Flair to pin the Deadman, but Taker kicked out after two. Then Taker went after Anderson, assaulted him and gave Anderson the "Dragon Sleeper". While this was happening, Flair grabbed a chair and hit Taker in the back with it, but Taker was unphased by it and gave Flair a kick to the face.

Then Taker grabbed Flair, tried to give him the "Last Ride" but couldn't do it, so Taker gave Flair the "Tombstone Piledriver", and pinned Flair for the win.

This was Taker's 10th "Wrestlemania" that he won. No one has ever done this before, or will likely ever do it. Way to go Taker!

Edge faced off against Booker T. Booker had some control in the beginning, but Edge gained control, and kept it throughout the match. Edge won when he gave Booker the "Edgecution" for the win. Way to go Edge!

During the match, and right before Edge pinned Booker, Edge imitated the spinarooni. Jim Ross called it the "Edge-arooni". I think it sounds much better than the spinarooni.

As The Hurricane was trying to leave the building with the title intact, Coach stopped him to ask him about what happened in the Godfather's dressing room. Hurricane said he was not a hurri-perv, but a hurri-hardcore champion. Just then Mighty Molly ran over to tell Hurricane to get to the Hurricycle, and before Hurricane knew what happened, Mighty Molly hit him in the head with a frying pan and pinned him to become the new WWF Hardcore Champion. Way to go Molly!

Scott Hall, who was accompanied to the ring by Kevin Nash, faced off against Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin won when he gave Hall a "Stone Cold Stunner" and pinned him for the win. Way to go Austin!

Answer: The Dudley Boyz, The APA, and The Hardy Boyz

Billy and Chuck faced off against The Dudley Boyz, The APA, and The Hardy Boyz in a Tag Team Elimination Match. The APA was eliminated first, the The Dudley Boyz were eliminated. Matt and Jeff were left to face Billy and Chuck. Unfortunately, Billy and Chuck won when Chuck pinned Jeff to retain the titles.

As Molly was trying to find a safe haven, she was hit in the face with a door. She was then pinned by Christian, who then became the new WWF Hardcore Champion.

Hulk Hogan faced off against The Rock in an Icon versus Icon Match. Hogan had control of the match, but it was soon taken away from him. The Rock pummeled Hogan, and gave him the "People's Elbow" for the win.

After The Rock defeated Hogan, Hogan shook his hand. This action brought Hall and Nash to the ring. Hogan was double teamed by his own friends.

The Rock, who was half way up the ramp, turned around and came to Hogan's rescue. Hogan and The Rock overcame Hall and Nash and stood victorious in the middle of the ring.

Trish Stratus and Lita faced off against Jazz for the WWF Women's Championship. Unfortunately, Jazz retained her title when she pinned Lita for the win.

Christian, who actually made it to the parking lot, was attacked by Maven as he was getting in the cab. Maven pinned Christian to become the new WWF Hardcore Champion. Way to go Maven!

Sometime in the match, Jericho placed Triple H in the "Walls of Jericho". Triple H tried to reach the ropes, and when he came within reach, Jericho hauled him back into the middle of the ring. The Game battled to reach the ropes, and finally did, which made Jericho break the hold. Jericho then brought a chair into the ring, and while Stephanie distracted the referee, Jericho hit Triple H on the head with the chair. Fortunately, The Game kicked out.

As Stephanie climbed in the ring to help Jericho, she was faced by Triple H who gave her a well deserved "Pedigree". Triple H then gave Jericho the "Pedigree" and pinned him to become the new WWF Undisputed Champion. Way to go Triple H!
