Answer: Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Blackpool is the biggest resort in the UK and is in the north west of England. Blackpool Pleasure Beach covers 50 acres in the south of the town. It is small in area but is packed with rides, attractions and fast food outlets. It has 12 roller coasters and Valhalla, the worlds largest dark ride. The Pepsi Max Big One is 240 feet high and the tallest and fastest coaster in England.

American Adventure is in Derbyshire and built on what was a coal mine. It's a park with an American theme set around a 32 acre lake. Nightmare Niagara is a log flume with one of the largest drops in the world.

Pleasure Island is at Cleethorpes both it and Skegness Pleasure Beach are on the east of England. Alton Towers is almost in the middle of England, as such it attracts people from all over the country. Each park has it's own version of a Runaway Train, the one at Skegness is a kids coaster although adults can ride it.

Skegness Pleasure Beach is a small park on the east coast of England. Queen Bee is a kids coaster built on top of an amusement arcade, it has a very distinctive bee theme.

Alton Towers is set around 200 acres of parks and gardens. It has around 40 rides but most are big rides. The park now has two hotels and an indoor water park for year round fun. Nemesis is a suspended coaster and has a theme based around a crash landed alien space craft.

Drayton Manor is set in 250 acres of park land and lakes. It is near the town of Tamworth, this town is about as far from the coast as it's possible to get in England, about 80 miles. Shockwave is the first and only stand up roller coaster in Europe.

Lightwater Valley is set in 175 acres of woodland and is a mix of rides, shopping and animal demonstrations. The park is near to Ripon in north Yorkshire and was once a strawberry farm! The Ultimate roller coaster was opened in 1981 and is a mile and half long and takes six minutes to read.

Fantasy Island in at Ingoldmells near by Skegness. In this area is the largest concentration of caravans in the UK. All those holidaymakers have to spend their money somewhere! In the centre of Fantasy Island is a huge glass pyramid which houses rides, shops and restaurants. Volcano Impact riders are shot 180 into the air out of a volcano!

Great Yarmouth is a large seaside town on Norfolk coast of England. The Pleasure Beach is at the south end of time. Many parks have a monorail ride but Great Yarmouths is my favourite, it's very slow and sedate and gives good views over this small park and the sea in the sea in the distance.
