1. Our journey begins in Africa, a land filled with deserts and jungles, and of course, a whole lot of animals! As we trek across a huge flat plain we can see in the distance two beautiful creatures! They have long necks and big brown spots, and they're much taller than we are. Can you help me name these wonderful creatures?
2. Africa was certainly an exciting place to visit, but we had to leave and continue on our journey around the world. Our next stop is the incredible forests of China! The trees and bushes are thick, so we had better be careful. But look! Do you see those creatures up ahead? It's a black and white mammal eating bamboo. He reminds me of "Winnie the Pooh"! Do you know what it is?
3. Leaving China behind was really tough, but we still have many more places to visit. Our next stop is Australia! Australia has lots of deserts and barren land, but it also has a lot of wildlife! As we hike through The Outback, we notice a herd of jumping creatures. They have pouches on their bellies, and they really do love to jump! Do you know what they are?
4. Well, Australia was great, but we better keep moving so we can make it home in time for supper. The next stop on our adventure is the Amazon rainforest! That's way over in South America. The rainforest is really dangerous, so we had better watch out for lurking predators. But wait! Do you see that? It looks like a big black cat, and I think he's coming after us!
5. Wow! The Amazon was an amazing place to visit. But, we still have to make it home for supper, so we better keep moving. The next stop on our adventure is sunny Florida! But we aren't here to visit "Mickey Mouse", so we better get to business. As we go searching through the infamous swamps, we come across a really scary creature. He's got a big jaw, with lots of teeth! He sneaks around in the water, with his dark-coloured body, and he swishes his tail to warn us that he is there! What do you think he is?
6. Well we got out of Florida fast, that animal was really scary! The next stop on our adventure is Colorado. We should be safe here, don't you think? Colorado has lots of forests and mountains, and that definitely means we'll find a lot of wildlife! Hey, do you see that over by the rock? The little creature with the big ears? It has a puffy little tail, and it seems to be hopping away from us? Do you know what it is?
7. That creature was really cute, don't you think? I took a picture of it, to put in my scrapbook, did you? Well we left Colorado, and we are traveling north to Alaska. I think we should take a break from hiking, don't you? Let's take that boat tour, we can get a good look at the ocean. Hey! Do you see that splash out there? Wow! It's coming back! It looks like a big black fish, but it's not a fish. It's got a white belly, and a big black fin like a shark. Do you know what it is?
8. Well, Alaska was fun, but a little too cold for me. Our next stop is Alberta! It shouldn't be too cold there, right? Let's go wandering around the prairies, they are bound to be filled with wildlife! Shh! Be really quiet, I think I see something rustling in the grass over there! It's brown, and stands on four legs, it also has antlers, and a short stubby tail. Do you know what it is?
9. Well the prairies in Alberta were truly stunning, but we still have to make it home in time for dinner. The second to last stop on our adventure is the forests in Northern Ontario! We had better be careful, some strange things lurk in these woods. Wow! Do you see that? It's a big dark brown creature, he seems to be crawling along the ground, and sort of resembles "Winnie The Pooh". What do you think he is?
10. Well... Our adventure is almost through, but I'm sure we have time for one more quick sighting before we go home for dinner. Perhaps we'll see something out of the bus window while we travel through Toronto. Do you see that? Right there! Running across the telephone line! It's got a long bushy tail, and a tiny little head. What do you think it is?
