Answer: India

The endangered tiger is found in Asia, mostly in areas of the Indian subcontinent. Tigers are the largest of the Earth's wild cats. Tiger populations have shrunk drastically due to poaching, loss of habitat and climate change.

Snow leopards makes their homes in the mountains of Central Asia. They very thick gray and white fur which protects them from the frigid weather in which they live. The snow leopard is a powerful jumper and feasts on the various mountain goats and sheep which populate their homes.

Answer: Melanism

Melanism is caused by excessive amounts of melanin in the skin, hair, and fur of many types of wild cats. In the past, these animals were thought to be completely different species, but if you look closely you will see that you can see the normal spots of the jaguar are still present.

Answer: Rosettes

Leopards have unusual markings called rosettes which are spots with a secondary color which frames the spot. No leopard has exactly the same rosette pattern. Rosettes are a type of camouflage which helps the leopard to hide in the shadows while stalking its food.
