1. Raptors
Answer: Toronto
Toronto Raptors is the only remaining Canadian franchise team. They were established in November 1993 and have had some great basketball players on their team including Vince Carter, Chris Bosh, Damon Stoudamire and DeMar DeRozan. In June 2019 the Raptors won their first NBA title (beating the Golden State Warriors in the finals) and fans across the entire country of Canada celebrated.

The Los Angeles Lakers have won numerous NBA titles and play out of Staples Arena, along with the other team that plays out of Los Angeles, the Clippers. From 1968 to 1973, Wilt Chamberlain, who is considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time, played on the team, which made it to the NBA finals 4 times in that period. Actor Jack Nicholson is a big fan of the team and can often be found sitting courtside.
3. Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers were founded in 1970 as the Buffalo Braves and moved to San Diego as the San Diego Clippers in 1978. In 1981, Los Angeles real estate mogul Donald Sterling bought the franchise and controversially relocated it from San Diego to Los Angeles in 1984, without permission from the NBA.
The NBA brought a lawsuit against Sterling but ultimately the team was allowed to stay in LA.
4. Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are known as the Mavs and play out of Dallas, Texas. Up to the 2017 season, the team had sold out over 700 consecutive games, which at the time was the longest for any North American sports team. The Mavs won the NBA championship in 2011 and were considered the underdogs as they were going up against the Miami Heat and their "Big Three" - LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.
Despite being the underdogs, the Mavs won the series in 6 games.
5. Thunder

Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC) started in the NBA as the Seattle Supersonics who were moved to Oklahoma City in 2008 after a lawsuit between the owner and the city of Seattle. The agreement was a result of the lawsuit was that OKC would move to their new home with a new name, colours and logo and Seattle would keep the Supersonics name, logo and colours in case of a future franchise.
6. Cavaliers

Cleveland Cavaliers (Cavs) play out of Cleveland, Ohio and have had an on-again off-again relationship with star basketball player LeBron James. The team drafted James in 2003 who played there until 2010. When he left, the Cleveland fans were extremely upset at the way he announced his decision to leave but all was forgiven when James re-joined the Cavs in 2014.
7. Trail Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers entered the NBA in 1970 as an expansion team and won the NBA title in 1977. They have a very strong following and sold out for 814 consecutive home games! This was the longest sellout streak for any North American professional sports team at the time.

The Boston Celtics were founded in 1946 and are one of the original 8 teams of the NBA. They are well-known for their green coloured uniforms and highly loyal fan base. They are regarded as one of the most successful teams in the NBA. The team had a very notable season when the "Big Three" joined: Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce and the team won the 2008 championship.
9. Bulls

The Bulls were founded in 1966 and are very well known for having one of the greatest basketball players of all time, Michael Jordan, on the team. They won six championships between 1991 and 1998 thanks to Hall of Famers Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen and coach Phil Jackson.
The team is the only one to never lose an NBA Final series and the first team to win more than 70 regular season games.
10. Heat

The Heat were founded in 1988 and were pretty mediocre until they secured their own "Big Three" players - Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James. During the four years these players were together, the Heat made it to the NBA finals for each of those four years and won back to back championships, in 2012 and 2013.
The Heat hold the record for the third longest winning streak during the regular season, at 27 straight games. This was set during the magical 2012-2103 season.
