Any type of creature can be poached; lions, tigers, elephants, rabbits, cattle, bird eggs and even fish. Most animals are killed inhumanely for their meat, skin, fur, or for medicinal purposes. Poachers make a lot of money and it is difficult to catch them because they steal from remote rural areas.
