1. Bouillabaisse

This fish stew originated in the French city of Marseille which is located on the country's southern coast. Bouillabaisse derives its name by combining the words for boil and simmer. Traditionally the stew was prepared using the fish that the fishermen found difficult to sell in the market and usually consists of at least two or more types of fish.
2. Stargazy pie

The stargazy pie is a baked dish originating in Cornwall, England. Fish, usually pilchards or sardines, are baked along with eggs and potatoes and then covered with a pastry crust. The fish heads and sometimes even the tails, stick out of the pie crust seemingly looking up at the sky, leading to its name.
3. Cioppino

Created by Italian immigrants in the west coast city, Cioppino is a fish stew that traditionally included all kinds of fish caught by the fishermen on any particular day. As such it was common to find the stew to contain mussels, clams, squid, shrimp, scallops and other fish. The fish is cooked in a wine sauce along with tomatoes and then eaten with bread.
4. Bourdeto

One of the best known dishes from the Greek island of Corfu, bourdeto is typically made with scorpion fish. The fresh catch is cooked in tomato sauce along with paprika, garlic and onions.
5. Ambotik Fish Curry
Answer: Goa, India
Ambotik is a tangy, spicy gravy prepared in the coastal region of Goa in India. Ambot means sour while tik means spicy. The dish is heavily influenced by Portuguese cuisine from the time when the region was a colony of this European power. Most commonly made with shark fish, the curry can also be prepared using squid, prawn or other types of fish.
6. Duojiao yutou

A delicacy of the Hunan region in China, duojiao yutou is basically steamed fish prepared with chilies and tofu. Traditionally the dish mainly consisted of the fish head. These days it is common to find it made using fish fillets instead. The chilies used are usually salted and along with spring onions, garlic, ginger and fermented black beans, give this dish its unique flavour.
7. Agwi-jjim

Agwi-jjim is believed to have first been made in a fish market in the city of Masan in South Korea. Jjim is a term used in Korean cuisine to describe the preparation of any meat or fish dish by first marinating it in a soup and then steaming or boiling it. Agwi refers to the blackmouth angler which is prepared in this style. Various ingredients are included to add flavour - soy sauce, minced garlic, chili pepper and soybean paste.
8. Esgarraet

Esgarraet is associated with the region of Valencia in Spain. The dish consists of salted cod along with a salad of red peppers with seasoning in the form of garlic and olive oil. Esgarraet means to shred and the fish and peppers used in the dish are shredded leading to the name. A similar dish is found in the region of Catalonia in Spain, however this uses tomatoes instead of peppers.
9. Canh chua

Canh chua is a soup popular in the Mekong delta region of southern Vietnam. The dish uses fish from the Mekong river. The sour taste of the soup is from the use of tamarind. This soup is usually prepared with pineapples and tomatoes though other vegetables may also be used.
10. Paling in 't groen
Answer: Flanders, Belgium
Flanders generally denotes the northern part of Belgium which is mainly Dutch speaking. Paling in 't groen consists of eel cooked in a green herb sauce with the Dutch name literally translating to 'eel in green'. The eel is usually freshwater from the river Scheldt that flows along the region.
