Green is considered a peaceful, spring-like, natural color. It has been considered a representation of rebirth, freshness, fertility, and renewal. In many eastern cultures, the color green is associated with harmony, growth, abundance, and healing. In Celtic mythology the Green Man was the God of Fertility. In Egyptian culture, green was sacred and represented the hope and joy of Spring. A strange statistic is that suicides from London's Blackfriar Bridge dropped by 34% after it was painted green.

The violet and purple hued colors are rare in nature and the darker purples imply wealth, prestige, and status. The word purple is derived from the Greek porphura which is a shellfish that yields a special dye called Tyrian Purple. This dye was very expensive to produce and thus was only used in manufacturing robes and clothing for royalty and other high-ranking officials.

In many cultures, the violet and purple colors symbolize passion, leadership, success, wisdom, and even psychic ability.

After the color red, blue is considered to be the most powerful of the spectral colors and is one of the three primary colors (the other two being red and yellow). The color blue has been associated with health, truth, healing, hope, friendship, creativity, calmness, patience, knowledge, loyalty, and peace.
