Soon he stole the spotlight from Static and constantly went to Ragtag and his younger counterparts Run and Jump to refresh his powers, until they asked him to steal for them. Later, his Bang Baby powers kick in and he becomes Gear. Dwayne McDuffie is the creator of the Static Shock comics and the writer of this episode.
