One day, Solveg came home from school eating an apple a nice lady had given to her on the street. The next morning she was missing but her father found her in an oil painting, feeding some ducks.

Grandmama is a retired witchophile.

After Grandmama got pnemonia, the doctor whouldn't let them go to Norway, so they went there instead, even though Grandmama wouldn't stop smoking those 'vile, black cigars.'
