Question 1 of 10
1. "How do you feel, Georgie?"
"Saintlike."
"What's wrong with him?" croaked Fred, looking terrified. "Is his mind affected?"
"Saintlike," repeated George. "You see...I'm holy. Holey, Fred, geddit?"
"Pathetic," Fred told George. "Pathetic! With the whole wide world of ear-related humor before you, you go for holey?"

We all know this amusing conversation takes place after George's ear has been blasted away during the duel with the Death Eaters. But which Death Eater is responsible for the lost ear?

Answer: (Last name only or first and last names.)
Question 2 of 10
2. "Now, Ron, have you cleaned out your room yet?"
"Why?" exclaimed Ron, slamming his spoon down and glaring at his mother. "Why does my room have to be cleaned out? Harry and I are fine with it the way it is!"
"We are holding your brother's wedding here in a few days' time, young man -"
"And are they getting married in my bedroom?" asked Ron furiously. "No! So why in the name of Merlin's saggy left -"

When was the wedding mentioned scheduled to take place?
Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. "Daddy, look - one of the gnomes actually bit me!"
"How wonderful! Gnome saliva is enormously beneficial!" said Mr. Lovegood, seizing Luna's outstretched finger and examining the bleeding puncture marks. "Luna, my love, if you should feel any burgeoning talent today - perhaps an unexpected urge to sing opera or to declaim in Mermish - do not repress it! You may have been gifted by the Gernumblies!"

Luna, it seems, gets her "quirky" personality from her father. What is Mr. Lovegood's first name?
Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. There was the sound of pattering feet, a blaze of shining copper, an echoing clang, and a shriek of agony: Kreacher had taken a run and hit him over the head with a saucepan.
"Call 'im off, call 'im off, 'e should be locked up!" he screamed, cowering as Kreacher raised the heavy-bottomed pan again.
"Kreacher, no!" shouted Harry.
"Perhaps just one more, Master Harry, for luck?"

Who is Kreacher hitting with the pan?

Answer: (First name or first and last names.)
Question 5 of 10
5. During the chapter, "The Seven Potters," Harry once again finds his house full of people looking to quickly sweep him away from Number 4 Privet Drive. Six of the people in the group drink Polyjuice Potion containing Harry's hairs in order to help distract and confuse Voldemort and his Death Eaters.
Once taking the potion, our favorite pranksters, Fred and George, turned to each other and said together, "Wow - we're identical!"

Which of the following characters was NOT part of the group to take Harry away?
Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. "I was a fool!" he roared, "I was an idiot, I was a pompous prat, I was a - a -"
"Ministry-loving, family-disowning, power-hungry moron," said Fred.
He swallowed. "Yes, I was!"
"Well, you can't say it fairer than that." (Fred)

To whom was Fred speaking?
Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. "Hello, Minister!" bellowed Percy, sending a neat jinx straight at him. "Did I mention I'm resigning?"
"You're joking, Perce!" shouted Fred.
Fred looked at Percy with glee.
"You actually ARE joking, Perce...I don't think I've ever heard you joke!"

In a show of support to his family and the Order, Percy rejoins them and battles with his (now) former employer, the latest Minster of Magic. Who is the Minister?
Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. "How - how're we going to get in?" panted Ron. "I can - see the place - if we just had - Crookshanks again -"
"Crookshanks?" wheezed Hermione, bent double, clutching her chest. "ARE YOU A WIZARD, OR WHAT?"
"Oh - right - yeah -"

Just as Ron had to remind Hermione of this fact in Sorcerer's Stone, so it comes back to bite him here. Why did Ron want Crookshanks?
Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. Back on the platform, they were having an animated discussion about which House they would be sorted into when they finally went to Hogwarts.
"If you're not in Gryffindor, we'll disinherit you," said Ron, "but no pressure."

To whom was Ron speaking?
Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. "Don't forget to give Neville our love!" Ginny told James as she hugged him.
"Mum! I can't give a professor LOVE!"
"But you KNOW Neville -"
James rolled his eyes.
"Outside, yeah, but at school he's Professor Longbottom, isn't he? I can't just walk into class and give him LOVE!"

What subject does Professor Longbottom teach?
Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "How do you feel, Georgie?" "Saintlike." "What's wrong with him?" croaked Fred, looking terrified. "Is his mind affected?" "Saintlike," repeated George. "You see...I'm holy. Holey, Fred, geddit?" "Pathetic," Fred told George. "Pathetic! With the whole wide world of ear-related humor before you, you go for holey?" We all know this amusing conversation takes place after George's ear has been blasted away during the duel with the Death Eaters. But which Death Eater is responsible for the lost ear?

Answer: Severus Snape

We later learn that though Snape did blast away George's ear, he was actually aiming for a Death Eater's wand hand. Despite the evidence against him, Snape proved that he too was "Dumbledore's man through and through."
2. "Now, Ron, have you cleaned out your room yet?" "Why?" exclaimed Ron, slamming his spoon down and glaring at his mother. "Why does my room have to be cleaned out? Harry and I are fine with it the way it is!" "We are holding your brother's wedding here in a few days' time, young man -" "And are they getting married in my bedroom?" asked Ron furiously. "No! So why in the name of Merlin's saggy left -" When was the wedding mentioned scheduled to take place?

Answer: The day after Harry's birthday

Aren't we glad he didn't finish that sentence!
Harry's birthday, July 31st, was the day before Bill and Fleur's wedding. Unfortunately, August 1st was the same day that Minister of Magic, Rufus Scrimgeour, was murdered and the Ministry fell, leaving Lord Voldemort in control, and forcing the trio to live as fugitives and "on the run."
3. "Daddy, look - one of the gnomes actually bit me!" "How wonderful! You may have been gifted by the Gernumblies!" Luna, it seems, gets her "quirky" personality from her father. What is Mr. Lovegood's first name?

Answer: Xenophilius

Though he may be quirky, Xenophilius was quite willing to hand Harry, Ron and Hermione over to the Death Eaters, though he was only trying to rescue Luna who had been kidnapped by the Death Eaters. Luckily for Mr. Lovegood, the trio had no hard feelings (well, maybe that's pushing it!) and succeeded in rescuing Luna from the Malfoy Manor where she was being held captive by Voldemort and his Death Eaters.
"Perhaps just one more, Master Harry, for luck?" Who is Kreacher hitting with the pan?

Answer: Mundungus Fletcher

Though Kreacher does end up respecting and even liking Harry, at this point in the book, he's not beating up Mundungus out of loyalty to Harry; he's doing it because Mundungus called the Black Family possessions he stole "junk."
Once taking the potion, our favorite pranksters, Fred and George, turned to each other and said together, "Wow - we're identical!" Which of the following characters was NOT part of the group to take Harry away?

Answer: Dedalus Diggle

Though Dedalus Diggle (along with Hestia Jones) did come to Number 4 Privet Drive that night, it was to take away the Dursleys, not Harry (they had left by the time Harry's guard arrived). Unfortunately, due to Mundungus' cowardice, Mad Eye was killed that night.
6. "I was a fool!" he roared, "I was an idiot, I was a pompous prat, I was a - a -" "Ministry-loving, family-disowning, power-hungry moron," said Fred. He swallowed. "Yes, I was!" "Well, you can't say it fairer than that." (Fred) To whom was Fred speaking?

Answer: Percy

After a three year long estrangement from his family, Percy finally realizes the error in his ways and joins them in the Battle at Hogwarts. Unfortunately, Percy's time with Fred was short, as Rookwood (we assume) killed him just a short time later.
7. "Hello, Minister!" bellowed Percy, sending a neat jinx straight at him. "Did I mention I'm resigning?" "You're joking, Perce!" shouted Fred. Fred looked at Percy with glee. "You actually ARE joking, Perce...I don't think I've ever heard you joke!" In a show of support to his family and the Order, Percy rejoins them and battles with his (now) former employer, the latest Minster of Magic. Who is the Minister?

Answer: Pius Thicknesse

Thicknesse, who was Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement while Scrimgeour was Minister, was named Minister of Magic after the fall of the Ministry. Thicknesse was a very good choice as Minister for Voldemort, as Yaxley had succeeded in placing him under the Imperius Curse during the summer and thus was basically Voldemort's puppet.
8. "How - how're we going to get in?" panted Ron. "I can - see the place - if we just had - Crookshanks again -" "Crookshanks?" wheezed Hermione, bent double, clutching her chest. "ARE YOU A WIZARD, OR WHAT?" "Oh - right - yeah -" Just as Ron had to remind Hermione of this fact in Sorcerer's Stone, so it comes back to bite him here. Why did Ron want Crookshanks?

Answer: To freeze the limbs of the Whomping Willow

Because of Harry's lack of skill in Occlumency, he knew that Voldemort was waiting in the Shrieking Shack and waiting for Harry to come to him. However, once Harry got there, it was only to watch Voldemort murder Snape in hopes of winning the Elder Wand. Only at that moment do we find out that Snape was truly one of the good guys, and, as Harry later said, "he was probably the bravest man I ever knew."
9. Back on the platform, they were having an animated discussion about which House they would be sorted into when they finally went to Hogwarts. "If you're not in Gryffindor, we'll disinherit you," said Ron, "but no pressure." To whom was Ron speaking?

Answer: Lily and Hugo

James, Albus and Lily are Harry and Ginny's children. Rose and Hugo are Ron and Hermione's. At this point, only James has been sorted; he is in Gryffindor. Albus and Rose are getting ready to board the Hogwarts Express for their first time, and Albus in particular is quite worried about which house he will be sorted into... much like his father was during his first year.
As most people seem to think this question needs correcting, please see the following quote from the book:
"Back on the platform, they found Lily and Hugo, Rose's younger brother, having an animated discussion about which House they would be sorted into when they finally went to Hogwarts. 'If you're not in Gryffindor, we'll disinherit you,' said Ron, "but no pressure.'"
10. "Don't forget to give Neville our love!" Ginny told James as she hugged him. "Mum! I can't give a professor LOVE!" "But you KNOW Neville -" James rolled his eyes. "Outside, yeah, but at school he's Professor Longbottom, isn't he? I can't just walk into class and give him LOVE!" What subject does Professor Longbottom teach?

Answer: Herbology

Probably my favorite quote, saving the best for last. We never do find out what happened to the others (Luna, Dean, etc), but hopefully with the "encyclopedia" JK Rowling expects to publish in a couple of years, we'll find everything else out!

I hope you've enjoyed my quiz, and please feel to let me know of any corrections or comments. THANKS!
