Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. I saw Narnia being created by Aslan, and he made me a king.

Answer: Frank

King Frank was the first King of Narnia, and he ruled with Queen Helen. His descendants were kings and queens until the White Witch took over the country, and then the four children came from England to rule together.
2. Aslan turned me back into a boy after magic made me a dragon.

Answer: Eustace

This was on Dragon Island, and is written about in 'The Voyage of the Dawn Treader'. Eustace also appeared in 'The Silver Chair' and 'The Last Battle', with Jill.
3. I am a Talking Mouse, and Reepicheep is my leader.

Answer: Peepicheek

Reepicheep is one of my favourite characters because he is so brave. In 'Prince Caspian' we learn that the mice were turned into Talking Animals after they had gnawed away the ropes which bound Aslan to the stone table in 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe'.
4. I am Aravis' friend and I live in a palace in Tashbaan.

Answer: Lasaraleen

When Shasta is taken by the Narnians in Tashbaan, Aravis meets up with her friend and goes to her palace with her. Although Lasaraleen is completely different from her friend, she helps Aravis and the Horses escape the city.
5. I was companion to Scrubb and Pole when they travelled north to the Ruined City of the Giants.

Answer: Puddleglum

Puddleglum was a very brave Marshwiggle who always looked at the glum side of life - but he was a great guide to the two children, who loved him dearly.
6. I was Lucy's first friend in Narnia.

Answer: Mr Tumnus

C.S.Lewis tells how he first imagined Mr Tumnus in a snowy wood, and from there came the country of Narnia and the Lion himself, Aslan. So, in many ways, Mr Tumnus was C.S.Lewis' first friend in Narnia as well!
7. The children called me the DLF.

Answer: Trumpkin

This was short for 'Dear Little Friend', and Trumpkin much preferred the shortened version! This was in 'Prince Caspian'.
8. I am a Star at rest, and with my daughter I live on the island where Aslan's Table is.

Answer: Ramandu

Coriakin was also a Star, but he was on the Island of the Monopods - the Duffers - as a punishment. Ramandu's daughter married Caspian and became Queen of Narnia.
9. I am just a silly donkey who listened to an Ape who was very selfish and lied to have his own way.

Answer: Puzzle

This was in 'The Last Battle'. Shift the Ape dressed Puzzle in a lion skin and pretended that he was Aslan so he could become rich and powerful. Ginger was a cat in the same book, and Jewel was King Tirian's best friend, a unicorn.
10. I led the four children to a safer place after they found their friend had been captured by the White Witch's Captain of the Secret Police.

Answer: Robin

The Captain of the Secret Police is called Maugrim in the original books, and the ones still being printed in the UK - in the USA he is called Fenris ULF. He had left a notice saying that Mr Tumnus had been arrested, and the four children were unsure of what to do, or where to go next. The Robin led them further into Narnia, and then they met up with Mr Beaver.
