The hit song "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" was sung by the rock band Aerosmith, and released on August 18, 1998. Supposedly, the title came from songwriter Diane Warren who had just seen a "20/20" interview of Barbra Streisand talking about her new love, James Brolin. The other choices were hits for the Beastie Boys, Boyzone and the Dixie Chicks.
