Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. If the quiz is older and does not have any interesting information, would you rate this quiz 'excellent'?

Answer: no

In the beginning of FunTrivia, the standards were not as strict as they are now. You didn't have to input interesting info. Now, we encourage interesting information in all of your questions. I tend to rate the quizzes with little or no interesting info, poor or very poor.
2. I just played a great quiz. The author of the quiz came up with unique items about the quiz and it was so funny. Would this quiz be rated poor?

Answer: No

This is exactly what you want out of your quizzes. You want to learn new things, yet have a fun time playing them too. I would personally rate a quiz like this "excellent!"
3. You don't like the author, you should rate the quiz 'very poor' just because you don't like the author. Is this right?

Answer: No

Definitely not a nice thing to do. You should be fair and honest in your ratings.
4. What is the best rating?

Answer: Excellent

Excellent is the best rating that a player can give to the author. If you enjoy the quiz, you learned something or you chuckled throughout this quiz, then feel free to mark the excellent box.
5. What is the worst rating?

Answer: Very Poor

I tend to rate quizzes that are boring or have one line question and answers, "very poor" rating. I just feel that the author has not put a lot of effort into their quiz.
6. Can a quiz be given a rating of 'easy, hard, etc.,' after only one person has played the quiz?

Answer: No

You and over 25 more people need to play and rate the quiz before you see the rating of simple, average or difficulty of rating. This determines how difficult the quiz will be, according to the people that have played it previously.
7. If I like certain authors, I will rate all their quizzes "excellent". Is that fair?

Answer: No

I know that we all have our "favorites" and yes I do too. But still it's not right to rate someone's quiz "excellent" all the time. Be fair and decent in your ratings.
8. If a quiz is really simple, should this quiz be rated better than a difficult quiz?

Answer: No, you shouldn't rate a quiz on the difficulty. You should rate on the overall quality of the quiz.

You are not rating by how many answers you got right or wrong. You are rating the fun and interesting part of the quiz only. Was this enjoyable for you to play? If it was fun, easy to read and understand and if you enjoyed the quiz and learned new things, don't hesitate rating this "excellent."
9. In order for my quiz to be an "excellent" quiz, what should it have?

Answer: All of these options

That's generally what you want for the quiz to be rated "excellent". Have fun with your quizzes. Make it look like you've really hopped into the creative role. Make them fun and interesting too.
10. Is it easy to get the Editor's Choice rating?

Answer: No, only a select few get chosen for this status

It's extremely difficult to get this "mark" from the editors. The editors are told that this is a special award for a quiz. It's not handed out like candy. The editors have to be selective. Approximately one in every 100 quizzes that an editor edits should receive this award.
