Answer: A Streetcar Named Desire

"A Streetcar Named Desire" (1951) was a film adaption of the award winning play of the same name by Tennessee Williams. Vivien Leigh played the leading role as Blanche DuBois, a middle-aged southern belle and was supported in the cast by Marlon Brando, Kim Hunter and Karl Malden. The film was nominated for 12 Academy Awards, winning four. Both Hunter and Malden won Oscars for their supporting roles. Marlon Brando was nominated for Best Actor but lost out to Humphrey Bogart in "The African Queen".

"Anna Karenina" (1948) was a film adaption of the novel of the same name by the Russian author Leo Tolstoy. Vivian Leigh played the main character Anna Karenina, the wife of the cold government official Alexei Karinin (Ralph Richardson). The story is set in St. Petersburg in the 19th century. "That Hamilton Woman" (1941) is a film set during the Napoleonic Wars. As a dance hall girl, Emma (Vivien Leigh), marries a British Ambassador, Sir William Hamilton (Alan Mowbray) but falls in love with Admiral Horatio Nelson (Laurence Olivier). "Ship of Fools" (1965) was a drama film about a voyage from Mexico to Germany set on a ocean liner. This was Vivien Leigh's last film role as she passed away in 1967.
