'The Ocular' and the 'Eye of Sauron' are similar in appearance in that they are both the shape of a big eye in the sky looming over some sort of towered building.
The name of the quest 'It's All Fun and Games' is borrowed from the term 'it's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye'. The original saying dates back to Ancient Roman times when the only way to be disqualified from a wrestling match was to poke out someone's eye. The destruction of 'The Ocular' refers back to the 'somebody loses an eye' part of the saying.
