The .44 Magnum has the .44 Special as its parent case. Elmer Keith experimented with the .44 Special to finally come up with the new model. He persuaded Smith & Wesson and Remington to put his design to commercial use. The case is slightly longer than its parent case, preventing the cartridge from getting stuck in the chamber under the high pressure.

The character "Dirty Harry" as introduced by actor Clint Eastwood used the .44 Magnum.

Blink-182 was formed by Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge in 1992. In 2005 things got tense between the various band members and the band decided to take time off. Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker then started a side project called +44.

The band also featured members of Transplants and The Nervous Return.

"Get Smart" was a comedy series, that ran from 1965 to 1970 and featured special agent Maxwell Smart, played by Don Adams. Smart was also known as Agent 86. He is not very competent, but mostly still manages to save the day in the end. This is largely due to his very competent partner Agent 99, played by Barbara Feldon. Together they work for an secret government agency called CONTROL.

In part of the second season, Agent 44 was introduced, as one of the other agents working for the agency. He was portrayed by Victor French and briefly by Al Molinaro.

The longest stretch of the route is in the state of Connecticut, where it runs for 106 miles. The shortest part is through Rhode Island, with only 26 miles.

Julius Caesar is a former dictator of the Roman Republic. In the year 44 BC a group of senators conspired to kill Caesar near the Theatre of Pompey, where Caesar was due to appear that day for a session of the Senate. The senators called themselves "The Liberators".

They feared that Caesar would try to force the Senate out of power. Eventually the plot was carried out on the 15th of March. Historians much debate what the last words of Caesar were after being stabbed by the conspirators. In the play "Julius Caesar" by William Shakespeare his last line is "Et Tu, Brute" (You too, Brutus), referring to his friend Brutus being among the conspirators.

Other historians claimed Caesar said nothing at all, after being stabbed.

Forty-Four is a variant of poker. It is not a standard version of the game. In this variation you deal each player four cards. Four cards are also placed on the table face down. The first three cards on the table are called "community cards" and can be used by anyone in a hand. Each round one of these cards is turned round and players can bet.

The fourth card is a wild card, like the other cards matching it in rank. Highest poker hand naturally wins. If you play in the Death Ray variation, one of the cards is the "Death Card". If you match that card in rank, you can't win.
