The Wikwemikong Powwow is one of the largest competitive powwows in North America which is also held on the only unceded Indian Reservation in Canada.

An orphaned black bear cub was adopted by a British soldier in White River. He took the bear back to England and eventually donated it to the London Zoo. It was here that A.A. Milne and his son Christopher Robin used to visit and became enamoured of the bear, hence the books that were written.
