Rabat is the capital city of Morocco. It is a port city and has been an economic powerhouse in both Morocco as well as the rest of Africa. Known for its production of textiles and its tourism industry, it is one of the top ranked travel destinations in the world. Rabat is the center of foreign embassies to the rest of the world making is a political powerhouse as well.

Praia is the capital city of the West African island nation of Cape Verde. It is both a shipping and commercial center for the country noted for exports of tropical fruit, coffee, and sugar. The city also has a large fishing industry. Noted landmarks in the city include the Albuquerque Square and the Presidential Palace that show the strong Portuguese historical influence on the nation.

Algiers is the capital city of the North African nation of Algeria. In modern times, it has become a very luxurious city that includes expensive hotels, thermal spas, education facilities, and medical centers.

Ouagadougou is the capital city of Burkina Faso. The origin of the name dates back to the 15th Century and is believed to roughly translate to "head war chief's village". During the colonization period in Africa, Burkina Faso was ruled by the French, and Ouagadougou is a predominantly French city. Its main industries are centered around the cotton and agricultural sectors.
7. BOO JUMP BURROW

Answer: Bujumbura

BOO = a term often used to make someone jump in fear.
JUMP = to clear off the ground.
BURROW = a hole or tunnel often used by rabbits or foxes.

Bujumbura is the capital city of Burundi. Located on Lake Tanganyika, it is heavy exporter of coffee, tin, and cotton. In 2014, the city had an unusual law passed that "banned jogging" for any reason for fear that it might be used as a cover for "subversion". In March 2014, twenty-one people were sentenced to life in prison for violating this ban.

Cairo is the capital of Egypt. It is the cultural and historical center of the nation and is ranked in the top twenty most populated countries in the world. The city thrives on cultural tourism that includes beautiful nightlife, opera houses, markets, and ancient Egyptian culture. Major tourist attractions include the Tafir Square, Cairo Opera House, and The Egyptian Museum.

Kampala is the capital city of Uganda. In the 21st Century, it has become one of the fastest developing cities on the African continent. Various industries have set up within the city including Pepsi-Cola. Kampala has one of the most ethnically diverse populations in Africa due to the fact that inter-tribal marriage is rare. Most people in the city identify by their tribal roots and speak their indigenous languages. Ethnic groups in the city include the Basoga, Acholi, and Langi people.
10. LEW ANN DAH

Answer: Luanda

LEW = A short form of a male given name such as Lewis or Llewellyn.
ANN = An English female name.
DAH = An echoic word used to designate the dash of Morse Code.

Luanda is the capital city of Angola. Located on the coastline with the Atlantic Ocean, it is the primary seaport for the country. Historically, its roots date back to the 1700s when the Angolan region was explored and eventually a colony of the Portuguese. In 1975, Angola became an independent nation by which time Luanda was already a modernized city. In the early 21st century, it is one of the poorer cities in Africa with limited clean water and infrastructure. Transportation for goods has been restricted due to civil war and the destruction of surrounding railway systems. Luanda is known for manufacturing goods such as processed foods, textiles, and building materials to support the working class within the city.
