Most of Namibia's land mass consists of the Namib and Kalahari deserts. The Namib gets less annual precipitation than the Sahara.

The Atlas mountains are approximately 2,400 kilometers long and can be found in northern Africa. Jbel Toubkal is the highest peak at 13,665 ft.

Answer: Ogaden

The Kalahari desert is in southern Africa, the Sahara comprises almost all of northern Africa, and the Atacama is in South America. Somalia and Ethiopia both claimed the Ogaden region as their own. Somalia invaded the territory in 1977, but were repelled by the Ethiopians.
4. How deep is the Ngorongoro Crater?

Answer: 2,000 ft.

Located in Tanzania, the crater is approximately nine miles wide. It is the planet's largest intact caldera. Many animals live at the bottom of the crater and Ngorongoro is now a conservation area.

Answer: Nile

The Libyan and Nubian deserts are located in northeastern Africa. The Zambezi, Orange and Vaal rivers are all in southern Africa. The Nile is the only river in the same area.
