1. What is the main export of Nauru?

Answer: phosphates

Nauru is a very small country in the Pacific Ocean.
In fact, it is the smallest island nation in the world!
It has no official capital, but a legislative district, Yaren.
2. What was Samoa's former name?

Answer: Western Samoa

In July of 1997, Western Samoa officially changed its name to Samoa. The residents of American Samoa protested the change, because it took away from their own Samoan identity.
3. What is the capital of the French holding of New Caledonia?

Answer: Noumea

Apia is Samoa's capital, Vila is Vanuatu's capital, and Tarawai is Kiribati's capital.
4. On what island is the capital of French Polynesia located?

Answer: Tahiti

As its name suggests, French Polynesia is a French holding.
Its capital is Papeete and is located on Tahiti.
5. What is the sea that lies between New Zealand and Australia?

Answer: Tasman Sea

The Coral Sea is in between Papua New Guinea and Australia, while the Arafura Sea is between Australia and Indonesia. I made up the Cook Sea!
6. What archipelago is made up of some eastern Papua New Guinea islands?

Answer: Bismarck Archipelago

The Salomon Islands are independent, so they can't be the answer. New Caledonia belongs to France, and is close to Papua New Guinea, but it's not the answer.
The Coral Archipelago doesn't exist.

Answer: New Zealand

In New Zealand there are about 20 sheep per person. Australia produces the most sheep in the world, but it has a larger population of people. Australia only has a ratio of 15 sheep per person.

Answer: Wellington

Wellington is the capital of New Zealand. Canberra, the capital of Australia, is the second most southerly.
9. Which of these Hawaiian islands is the smallest, by area?

Answer: Nihau

Nihau is the "last," or westernmost "major" island of the archipelago. Maui is second largest only to the island of Hawaii, and Lanai is a smaller island off the coast of Maui. Molokai is a smaller island in the middle of the chain known for its past leper colonies.
10. Which country does Christmas Island, in the Indian Ocean, belong to?

Answer: Australia
