It has become a celebrated symbol of regeneration and renewal.

8. What is the name of the British city that is home to the railway stations Marylebone and Fenchurch Street?

Answer: London

London has a large number of overland railway stations, and you ought to be familiar with at least these two if you've ever played Monopoly (English and Australian versions)! 9. In which direction would you go from Portsmouth to get to Brighton?

These are both towns on the south coast of England. Portsmouth is just north of the Isle of Wight, and you would travel east from there through Bognor Regis to get to Brighton. Portsmouth is in Hampshire, and Brighton is found in East Sussex.

Answer: Newcastle

Newcastle is in the far north of England, on the east coast. It's not far from Sunderland and faces onto the North Sea. The people who live there are often nicknamed Geordie, and the city is home to the famous Newcastle Brown Ale (or 'Broon Ale', as a Geordie might pronounce it).
