The Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Ukraine and Poland border on Slovakia. The longest border is with Hungary - 679km.

Danube is the largest river but only a part of its length (less than 100km) flows through Slovakia. Vah is more than 470km long.

There is no such denomination as 'Slovak Catholic'. About 3.4% of the population is Greek Catholic (Uniate) and less than 1% Jewish.

Answer: every 4 years

There are 150 representatives in Slovak Parliament. It is called Slovenska Narodna Rada (Slovak National Council).
13. Which of these cities does not have a chemical factory?

Answer: Straze

Straze is not a city, but only a part of Poprad (town). The factory in Strazske is called Chemko Strazske and the one in Svit is Chemosvit.
14. In year 2002 some Slovak sportsmen won the world championship. What sport is it?

Answer: ice hockey

Sure it is ice hockey. Everyone here was so glad and we celebrated for a week! A lot of books and CD´s are sold in Slovakia about this event.
15. Which of these is Slovak national food?

Answer: halusky

It also could be pirohy. Halusky is typical Slovak food made of dough of potatoes cut into small pieces and boiled, then mixed with a sauce made of Slovak cheese and topped with bacon. If you wonder what bangabur is - it is just nothing. I hope you liked the quiz!
