Answer: Clayton

Clayton is fast becoming the main business and residential area of St. Louis county. Because the zoning laws do not include a height provision, central Clayton has a plethora of large skyscrapers... with some even reaching 28 stories tall!
2. Which of these suburbs was the first capital of Missouri?

Answer: St. Charles

Yep, before Jefferson City was the state capital, there was St. Charles, about 30min west of downtown St. Louis.
3. What suburb of St. Louis, translated from French to English, means "broken heart"?

Answer: Creve Coeur

Creve Coeur is an upper middle-class neighborhood with some lovely restaurants and a thriving central business district.
4. St. Louis and Los Angeles don't share too much in common. However, they do have several suburbs that share the same names. Which one of these St. Louis suburbs below DOES NOT have a counterpart in the Los Angeles area?

Answer: Berkeley

Berkeley is a suburb of San Francisco/Oakland area, NOT the Los Angeles area. Other St. Louis/Los Angeles suburbs with the same names include Glendale and Westwood.

Chesterfield is one of the largest suburbs in the St. Louis area. Spirit of St. Louis (or just Spirit as the locals call it) is the second largest airport in the area, and specializes in general aviation. It also hosts the annual St. Louis County Fair & Airshow every Labor Day weekend.

Yes, Town & Country is a very affluent suburb with spectacular mansions and lush parks. Oh, in case you were wondering, the two colleges are Maryville University and Missouri Baptist College.

Washington University (or Wash U) is one of the most highly respected universities in the country. It's a top 15 undergraduate school, a top three medical school and a top 15 law school; a great place of higher education.

Answer: Frontenac

The mall is aptly named Plaza Frontenac, and has such stores as Neiman-Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Ferragamo, and more.

Answer: Collinsville

Oddly, the Cahokia Mounds Historic Site is not in the city of Cahokia. The site offers daily tours.
