Blackpool is situated in Lancashire on the Irish Sea coast. The busiest seaside resort in the UK, its attractions include the 518 ft high Blackpool Tower and Blackpool Pleasure Beach, home to The Big One, a rollercoaster which reaches speeds of 74 mph.
