Answer: Kenosha

Kenosha is located on the shores of Lake Michigan, just over 30 miles south of Milwaukee. The county seat of Kenosha County, the city has a long history of car manufacturing.
2. The main campus of the University of Tennessee is located in which city?

Answer: Knoxville

Nicknamed "The Marble City", Knoxville was named after Henry Knox, America's first Secretary of War. The University of Tennessee was founded there in 1794, under its original name of Blount College.
3. Which city in Florida shares its name with a lake some 25 miles due south of it?

Answer: Kissimmee

Kissimmee is actually located on the shoreline of Lake Tohopekaliga, not Lake Kissimmee itself. Formerly a cattle-ranching center, the main industry in Kissimmee in the early 21st century was tourism, with Orlando and its theme parks located just a few miles to the north.
4. The United States Merchant Marine Academy is located in which small New York town?

Answer: Kings Point

Kings Point, situated on the Great Neck Peninsula on the north shore of Long Island, has been home to the Merchant Marine Academy since 1942. Merchant Marine was the first service academy to admit women students, in 1974. In 2000, nearly 30% of Kings Point residents had Iranian ancestry, the most in the USA at that time.
5. Which city has nicknames including "Heart of America" and "Paris of the Plains"?

Answer: Kansas City, Missouri

Kansas City, Missouri, was founded in 1838 at the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri rivers. As well as those nicknames mentioned in the question, KC is also known as the "City of Fountains", possessing over 200 of them. Kansas City, Kansas, situated just across the state line, is regarded as a satellite city of its Missouri namesake.
6. Which of these cities lies around 25 miles southwest of Glacier National Park?

Answer: Kalispell

Kalispell is the county seat of Flathead County, Montana, and its name comes from the Native American for "flat land above the lake", the lake in question being Flathead Lake, seven miles to the south of the city.
7. Which Ohio city has a University which was the site of an incident in 1970 when four students, protesting against the Vietnam War, were shot dead by members of the National Guard?

Answer: Kent

Kent is located in Portage County in northeast Ohio. Originally founded in 1805 as Franklin Mills, the city was renamed in 1864 after railroad owner Marvin Kent. Kent State University was established in 1910 under its original name of Kent State Normal School. The shootings of 1970 led to a student strike which caused 450 colleges across America to close.
8. Which city in Alaska shares its name with a species of bear?

Answer: Kodiak

Situated on an island of the same name, Kodiak was originally a Russian settlement. The city's economy relies mostly on fishing and tourism. The Kodiak bear is a sub-species of the Brown Bear, and lives on the islands of the Kodiak Archipelago.

Answer: Kalamazoo

Kalamazoo was incorporated as a village in 1838. Western Michigan University was established in the city in 1903 under its original name of Western State Normal School. As well as its breweries, another notable company founded in Kalamazoo is the Gibson Guitar Corporation.
10. What is the southernmost city of the contiguous USA?

Answer: Key West, Florida

The city of Key West is spread over a number of islands, including Key West itself, Stock island, Fleming Key and Sunset Key. The city of Key West is actually nearer to Cuba than to the nearest mainland city, Miami.
