It was also closer to the Punjab and Kashmir.

Ankara is the capital city of Turkey. It has a population of over 4.5 million people and is more centrally located in Turkey compared to its big brother Istanbul, which is in the far west of the country. The Hittites settled in what is now Ankara 1700-2000 years BC.

Taipei is the capital city of the Republic of China. It is situated on the northern end of an island of Taiwan off the coast from mainland China. The city had over 2.5 million and over 6.5 million in the metropolitan area in 2012. It is the major cultural and economic hub of the Republic of China and all of the country's transport networks, air rail and road are focused on Taipei.
