Answer: Gunpowder

Did you know that the British also wanted to capture Samuel and John Adams and that was the other reason for the Midnight Ride.

Answer: True

They were called Loyalists because they were *loyal* to their mother country, Great Britain.
6. The Colonists referred to the British soldiers by this nickname.

Answer: Redcoats

They were called this because British military uniforms were red until the Boer War (1899-1902). They were also called "lobsterbacks" because of the color of a cooked lobster. A other reason they were called lobsterbacks - colonists witnessed regular floggings of British soldiers that made their backs blood red like a lobster (discipline in the army then was horrific).

Answer: Breed's Hill

They called it Bunker Hill because that was the "base" of the Continental Army.
