It was opened on the 7th of October and was built to a height of 186 metres (620 feet). At that time, it was the tallest building in Britain.

Answer: Princess Elizabeth and Lt. Philip Mountbatten

Princess Elizabeth went on to be crowned queen on June 2, 1953. She celebrated her Golden Jubilee in 2002.
