Answer: Captain Harry Love

In 1853, Captain Henry Love, a gunfighter of L.A., rode with 20 men to get Murrietta. They surprised him while he was at his campfire near Lake Tulare. After he was dead, Billy Henderson cut off the dead man's head and gave it to the sheriff where it was auctioned off for 35 dollars!

Bob Ford, a friend and former member of Jesse's gang, wanted the bounty reward on Jesse's head, so he took Jesse's own gun and shot him as he was fixing a picture on the wall inside his home.

Born in 1837, James Butler Hickok, or better known as Wild Bill Hickok, grew up in Salle County, Illinois on a farm were he learned how to be a great gunfighter. He lived a dangerous life and took the lives of many men. It wasn't until 1876 were he was shot in the head by a drunken fool in South Dakota.
4. How did Bill Longley die?

Answer: He was hanged

In 1878, with 31 men to his credit as a gunfighter, Bill Longley from Austin, Texas was sent to jail were he was sentenced to be hanged. When he was hanged, he supposedly died in exactly 11 minutes.
5. Where was Ben Thompson born?

Answer: Knottingly, England

Ben Thompson was born at Knottingly in England in 1842. In 1849, his family moved to Austin, Texas. In 1856, Thompson got a job as an apprentice printer. In the later years of his life, he became city marshal in Austin, were he befriended King Fisher. The two of them gunnned down many men. He was 41 when he was gunned down in 1884, having killed at least 40 men.

When his son got into an argument with John Wesley Hardin, Old John Selman feared that Hardin would kill his son, so while Hardin was at a saloon, Old John Selman shot him dead.

When the famed shoot-out at the OK Corral was over, Frank and Tom McLowery and Billy Clanton were all killed. Wyatt Earp escaped unharmed, and Virgil, Morgan Earp and Doc Holliday were all slightly wounded.
