Answer: First spacecraft to land on the dark side of the moon

The Chang'e 4 spacecraft successfully landed on the far side of the moon to become the first man-made object in history to land on the lunar surface unseen on Earth. The mission was launched in early December and took three days to reach the moon. The craft spent a few weeks orbiting to prepare for touch-down on Van Karman crater and eventually landed on a relatively flat spot on the moon's far side.

On March 16, 50 people and 50 wounded in a terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. This was first time in history terrorist shooting events occurred in this peaceful nation in the Pacific.

On April 12, terrorists carried out attacks on churches and hotels on Easter Sunday in three Sri Lankan cities, Colombo, Negombo and Batticaloa. More than 253 people were killed, with several hundreds injured.

Answer: Highest ever temperatures recorded in Europe

On June 26, the week-long heat wave in Europe resulted in the highest ever June temperatures recorded in Germany (38.6C), Poland (38.2C) and the Czech Republic (38.9C). On June 28, France recorded its highest ever temperature at 45.9C in Gallargues-le-Montueux in southern France. According to The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the average worldwide temperature of 16.4 C was the hottest June historically.

State-owned company ARAMCO is the world's largest producer of crude oil. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced in 2016 that he wanted the company to go public in 2017 and valued the company at $2 trillion. However the final valuation by the auditor was around $1.5 trillion. The world's largest producer supplies about 10% of the world's crude oil. In 2018, the company made a profit $111 billion, the highest in the world.
