1. Haggis

Answer: Scotland

Haggis is Scotland's national dish and is a savoury meat pudding (comprising of sheep offal) with onions, spices, oatmeal and stock, cooked while encased in a sheep's stomach. It is traditionally served with neeps (turnips) and tatties (mashed potatoes). Haggis is the traditional meal at a Burns Supper normally held on January 25, the birth date of Robert Burns (1759-1796), considered as Scotland's national poet.
2. Moules-frites

Answer: Belgium

Moules-frites (mussels and fries) is also popular in France but the dish originated in Belgium and is the country's national dish. Traditionally the mussels are steamed in a large dish with celery, leeks, white wine and butter. The fries are usually double-cooked to make them crispy on the outside.
3. Cepelinai

Answer: Lithuania

This is a dish of stuffed potato dumplings shaped like a "Zeppelin airship" (10-20 cms long). The dumplings are stuffed with ground meat, mushrooms or dry curd cheese. Cepelinai are usually served with sour cream and bacon bits or pork rinds and quite a filling dish.
4. Fondue

Don't ever leave Switzerland without trying a fondue. Fondue is extremely wonderful in the mountains during the winter months and a very simple meal using cheese and bread. Simply dunk rustic bread into a melted pot of different cheeses with white wine and schnapps.
5. Köttbullar

Answer: Sweden

Köttbullar (meat balls) is a featured favourite on Swedish Christmas and Easter tables. The meat balls are made of a mixture of pork, milk, cream, onion, eggs, breadcrumbs, pepper, salt and sugar. They are usually served with mashed potatoes, lingonberries and a cream sauce.
6. Wiener Schnitzel

Wiener Schnitzel is one of the national dishes of Austria and one of the best known of Viennese cuisine. It is a simple a thin, breaded and pan-fried veal cutlet. Wiener Schnitzel was first mentioned in a cookbook in 1831. It is usually server with tossed lettuce, potato salad, cucumber salad or parsley potatoes.
7. Baltic herring

Answer: Finland

Fried Baltic herring is a wholesome Finnish dish served with boiled or mashed potatoes and lingonberries. There are many ways in which to cook the herring but fried appears to be the most popular. Vendace (muikku) is a small freshwater fish that is a summer time delicacy which is fried and eaten whole. Sautéed reindeer is also a very popular dish which is served with mashed potatoes and lingonberries.
8. Bigos

Answer: Poland

Bigos (Polish hunters' stew) is a traditional Polish dish besides dumplings (pierogi). The main ingredient of bigos is cabbage (fresh or sour) and can include diced sausage, mushrooms, onions and various spices. In some areas apple or dried plums are added. It is usually served with bread and occasionally with potatoes.
9. Moussaka

Answer: Greece

Moussaka is one of Greece's best known dishes. It is an oven baked layered dish of fried aubergines, minced meat, potatotes and topped with a creamy sauce. It is baked until it is golden brown.
10. Stamppot

Answer: The Netherlands

Stamppot is an old style Dutch dish which is made up of mashed potatoes with other added vegetables like carrots, kale, endive or sauerkraut. It is usually accompanied with rookworst which is a Dutch smoked sausage. Stamppot is traditionally served during the Winter.
