In 1858, John Mason created an interesting "jar" it consisted of a jar and a cap made of tin with holes on it. But, there was a problem, because the salt got stuck on the cap and very few dropped through the hole. The Morton Salt company solved this problem by using magnesium carbonate (MgCO3) to decrease the friction and made the salt shaker more effective.

The chocolate chip cookie was invented in Massachusetts, the year 1930. Ruth Graves Wakefield was preparing chocolate cookies, but she ran our of regular chocolate which will melt when poured into the dough, so she used a chocolate bar which turned out unexpected.

The chocolate bar didn't melt, so in the end the cookies were baked with chocolates on top of them and the chocolate chip cookie was born.

Oregano is a type of spice which was grown in the Mediterranean region. Its name is of Greek origin. This spice gives a spicy or sweet taste depending on the variety and it grows best on a hot and dry climate.
