Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The railroads in the original "Monopoly" game have been changed to what other mode of transportation in 'Monopoly Here and Now'?

Answer: Airports

The names of the railroads have been changed with real airports. They are J.F.K. International, O'Hare International, Los Angeles International, and Hartsfield-Jackson International airports.
2. The dark blue properties in the original "Monopoly" game (Boardwalk and Park Place) have been replaced in "Monopoly Here and Now" by which two land marks?

Answer: Times Square and Fenway Park

Times Square has taken the place as one of the best properties replacing Boardwalk. Fenway Park took the place of Park Place. In case you didn't know Raymond James Stadium and Bayshore BLVD are located in Tampa, FL.
3. What is the lowest bill amount in "Monopoly Here and Now"?

Answer: $10,000

Everything from the original game has been inflated, it is very simple actually, one hundred dollars in the original version now equals one million dollars. I thought that this was an easy way to inflate every thing.
4. If you own all four airports in "Monopoly Here and Now" then mortgage one of them then you land on an unmortgaged one how much do you owe to the bank?

Answer: Nothing

This was a trick question; when you land on any property you own you do not have to pay anything. Two million would be the correct answer if your opponent landed on the unmortgaged airport.
5. The number of spaces has changed in "Monopoly Here and Now edition?"

Answer: False

6. How much money do you receive if you pass GO in "Monopoly Here and Now?"

Answer: 2 million dollars

I said in the previous questions the money has been inflated so you would get two million dollars instead of two hundred dollars.
7. In "Monopoly Here and Now", how many monopolies can you get going around the board once?

Answer: 2

The obvious ones are Times Square and Fenway Park but the more technical monopoly is the orange colored properties. I will explain, you land on South Beach after rolling a double then roll two ones to land on the Johnson space center from there you roll a four (it cannot be doubles or you will go to jail) you will land on chance if you draw the go back three spaces card you land on Pioneer Square if you are lucky enough for that to happen you can have a monopoly in one turn and with out going around the board.
8. What utilities have The Electric Company and Water Works been replaced by in "Monopoly Here and Now edition?"

Answer: Cell Phone Service and Internet Service

The original utilities were replaced by more updated utilities which I understand, but I think they should have been left alone because those are still pretty important utilities.
9. How much does Disney World,Orlando cost in "Monopoly Here And Now?"

Answer: $2,400,000

It would be $240 in the original "Monopoly" Board game
10. Rich Uncle Penny Bags is featured on the game board in "Monopoly Here and Now?"

Answer: True

Yes Penny Bags has been the Mascot for the game since 1921 when he made his first appearance on the board.
