The narrator's name is never revealed. On the DVD Maria Friedman plays the narrator.

In the DVD, Donny Osmond plays Joseph. He has made many records with his brothers and sister.

Answer: Simeon

Jacob had twelve sons. Richard Attenborough in the DVD plays Jacob.
4. In "Joseph's coat", who would stop and stare?

Answer: King

Joseph is the second youngest of Jacob's family. Joseph's mother was Jacob's favourite wife, so Joseph was Jacob's favourite son. Jacob buys Joseph a multi coloured coat to show that he loved him.

Ian Mcneice in the DVD plays Potiphar, while Joan Collins plays his wife. Potiphar is impressed by Joseph's hard work, but he puts him in jail when he discovers him with his wife.

Joseph sings this whilst in jail. Jacob, his father, is also known as Israel. Canaan is where Joseph used to live.

This is a brilliant part of the show, with go-go dancers reassuring Joseph that everything will turn out fine. Joseph is good at interpreting dreams, so he interprets two other prisoners' dreams. One is a butler, who Joseph says will soon be free. But the baker's execution day is set.

Pharaoh is the ruler of Egypt. He has been having disturbing dreams. Joseph is still in jail.

Pharaoh is based on Elvis Presley. He is a really great character. He sends for Joseph to help him. The butler is the same one who was in jail. On the DVD, Robert Torti plays Pharaoh.

Pharaoh's dreams concern skinny cows who eat fat cows, and also ears of corn. Joseph tries to work it out.

Joseph predicts seven years of bumper crops, and then a famine. The farmers will have to put food aside to get through the crisis. Joseph offers to help Pharaoh to get through the famine.

The famine comes, but with Joseph's help, Egypt manages to get through it. But how is Joseph's other family managing?
