Plato was born in Athens and, after Socrates' death in 399BCE, embarked on a period of travel. In 387BCE he set up the Academy (a school devoted to philosophical learning) and Aristotle was a student there for the last twenty years of Plato's life.

Answer: Logical Positivism

The 'Vienna Circle' included Moritz Schlick and Rudolf Carnap. Among English philosophers, Alfred Ayer is regarded as the main advocate of Logical Positivism.
3. Which philosopher was the author of 'Memoirs of a Dutiful Daughter' and 'The Prime of Life"?

Answer: Simone De Beauvoir

De Beauvoir was a leading literary figure of her time. She had a very close intellectual and personal relationship with Jean-Paul Sartre.
