"The Sound of Music"! It is one of my favorite songs. The song is ironic since Rolf betrays the Von Trapp family later. Rolf said he would take care of Liesl because he's "seventeen going on eighteen". Yeah, betraying your girlfriend's family is taking care of her. He was a good person when the musical started but became a bad guy in the end.

This song ends the first act of "Les Miserables". It sets up the next act. Everyone sings about what they plan on doing in the next act. I consider it to be one of the most powerful songs in the musical. I love songs where more than one thing is being sung about at the same time. It makes the song amazing.

This song is from "Fiddler on the Roof". It is a song about God doing miracles in their lives. In the movie version Motel, the man who sings this song, goes a little crazy in his ecstatic reaction to Tevye's having consented to allowing him to marry Tzeitel He runs around doing crazy stuff like cartwheels.

This song from "Brigadoon" is sung by Fiona, a girl who is waiting for the right person for her to marry to come. She finally gets her "dearie" at the end of the musical. This is such a great song. I love it.

'Sit Down John!' is from "1776". It is the opening song to the musical. The men in Congress are telling John Adams to sit down because they are so annoyed with him. They actually say he is "obnoxious and disliked." Sherman Edwards, a history teacher, wrote the music and lyrics for "1776" in the 1960s.

Answer: "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"

'Any Dream will Do' is from "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". It is the first song that the Joseph character sings before the story of the musical starts. The way the musical is told is so cool. "Any Dream Will Do" is like a theme song for the musical.

This is the first song that Curly sings in "Oklahoma!". It is also the first song in the musical. Curly is a cowboy who eventually gets married and becomes a farmer. "Oklahoma!" is what I would call an historic fiction musical.

This is the love song that Christine and Raoul sing in "Phantom of the Opera". Unknown to them, the Phantom overhears them singing. I guess that is what makes the Phantom jealous.
