After Vera kills herself, Wargrave goes into his room and shoots himself through the head. Wargrave, being a judge, is obsessed with justice. He is a little too obsessed, however. 16. Why did the murderer kill Tony Marston first?

Answer: In the murderer's eyes, Tony was least guilty

17. Who killed Wargrave?

Answer: Wargrave himself

Wargrave originally faked his death by pretending to be shot through the head. After everyone was killed, he went up to his room and shot himself through the head, in the exact spot where he pretended to be shot. Blore kept a journal and wrote down that Wargrave was shot in the head.

The facts would not contradict each other because Wargrave was shot in the head, just later than it says in Blore's journal.
