The animals rename the farm "Animal Farm" when they overrun it.

Answer: Milk and apples

One of the many corrupt actions that take place. Others include the forcing-out of Snowball, the changing of the Seven Commandments, and the use of the guard dogs as a secret police.

It is a green sheet with a hoof and a horn on it. It is a parallel to the USSR's hammer and sickle. While the hammer/sickle combo represented the union between farmers(sickle) and workers(hammer), the hoof and the horn symbolizes the different animals.
9. Who reads the best, on the farm?

Answer: Muriel

She never forgets how to read, while all the others forget during the work forced on them by Napoleon.
10. What real-life historical event is this book based on?

Answer: Russian Revolution

Everybody and every event has a real life parallel. The building of the windmill is Stalin's 7 Year Plan. Snowball is Trotsky, Napoleon is Stalin.
