Answer: Hitomi

Hitomi Shinonome first appears in Volume One, leading Ritsuka to his new class. She worries greatly about him and the cause of his bruises. She first met Soubi outside of the Aoyagi household. He told her he did not like older women. For some reason, it greatly upset her and she ran off, crying.

Answer: Yoji

Yuiko and Yayoi are in the same grade as Ritsuka. Yuiko is his first friend and Yayoi his second. Hitomi is Yuiko and Ritsuka's teacher. Yoji was sent with Natsuo, by Septimal Moon, to find and capture Ritsuka. They fought Soubi after he stopped them from harming Hitomi.

Yayoi Shioiri is absent when Ritsuka first starts attending their school. Upon meeting Ritsuka, Yayoi doesn't like him. However, they become friends. Yayoi once asks Yuiko out, but she refuses him because she 'can't date guys shorter' then her. Hitomi is their teacher, Kio is a friend of Soubi's, and Ritsu is Soubi's former teacher/guardian.

Soubi Agatsuma is a 20 year old art student. He is Seimei's fighter before the manga starts, which is before Seimei's death. In Volume One, he appears to Ritsuka, claiming he was sent by Seimei. Soubi tells Ritsuka he loved him when they first meet, but Ritsuka doesn't believe him.

Kio Kaido is Soubi's best friend; and his only friend, according to Kio. He calls Soubi "Sou-chan" for some reason. He is the one that convinces Soubi to pierce his own ears, even volunteering to do it himself. Soubi, however, asks Ritsuka to do it. Kio has a dislike of Seimei, but he likes Ritsuka.

In the world of "Loveless", there are Fighters and Sacrifices. Fighters fight using wordspell, but the Sacrifice is the one who receives the damage. Soubi was Seimei's Fighter before his death, but that is only because Seimei had requested him. His true fighter is Nisei Akame.

Answer: Ritsu

Hitomi is Ritsuka's teacher, and Misaki is his mother. Nagisa was around when Soubi was young, but she had an extreme dislike of him. This was due to his 'closeness' with Ritsu. Ritsu Minami is the Principal of the Seven Voices Fighter's Academy. Soubi's mother was his fighter, which led the two to meet.

They have horrible first impressions of one another. Soubi still does not like ritsu and is often very cold towards him.

Answer: Nagisa

Nagisa Sagan is the creator of the Zeroes, as revealed by Ritsu. The project produces Fighters and Sacrifices that lack pain receptors. Ritsu does not know why, but all the end results are named "Zero". There are two sets of Zeroes. The older pair are Koya Sakagami and Yamato Nakano, and the younger pair are Yoji and Natsuo Sagan.

Septimal Moon is an organization made of seven people. Seimei was a part of it until his death. It was revealed that they ordered his death, for unknown reasons. After receiving a message from Septimal Moon, Ritsuka enters an online role-playing game known as "Wisdom Resurrection". He is greeted by Seven, who admits to being from Septimal Moon.

Breathless is the Fighter and Sacrifice duo of Ai Myoujin and Midori Arai. They first appear in the park, looking for Ritsuka. This is the first time they are fought against. The second time, they show up at Ritsuka's school and get him to follow them upstairs to a science lab. Soubi comes to the rescue, though it is unknown how he knew what was going on.

Answer: Yuiko

Koya has short black hair, Nana has long blonde hair, and Ai's hair is light purple. Yuiko's pink hair appears short, but it is really kept up in two pigtails. She is Ritsuka's first friend from his new school.

Answer: Misaki

Yuiko is the same age as Ritsuka, so she can not be his mother. Nagisa and Nana are both members of Septimal Moon, with no relation to Ritsuka. Misaki Aoyagi is the mother of both Seimei and Ritsuka Aoyagi. She is physically abusive towards Ritsuka, believing that, following his memory loss, he is not the 'real Ritsuka'.

Answer: Agatsuma-kun

Originally, she calls him Agatsuma-san. However, upon realizing that he is younger than her, she simply calls him Agatsuma-kun. Soubi doesn't seem to object.

Answer: Seimei

Natsuo and Yoji Sagan do fight Soubi in Volume Four, but he is not an Aoyagi. Yayoi is not an Aoyagi either. This leaves Ritsuka and Seimei. When they fight Soubi, Ritsuka is not present. They are supposed to fight Seimei in the Seven Voices Academy library, but he is too powerful for them to take on.

Answer: Osamu

Osamu Kimizuka appears in Volume Four, in a side story. She skips school to wait for Ritsuka to get done with his classes. She doesn't like being called Osamu, since it is a boy's name. She lets Ritsuka call her Osamu, however. Yuiko calls her Osamu by accident, but Osamu allows it now.
